This is supposed to be the replica of the sword that Captain Varo'then uses in Well of Eternity. Not implemented in game yet, but I hope it gets added sometime soon. A pretty neat look imo.

Spotted on Warlords beta, <Thunderstrike Falchion of Strength> variant. The icon caught my eye since it only belongs to one sword left in-game, checked it out and bought it off the AH. Would definitely be interesting if they decided to add it now of all times, being a level 60 sword.

Sword is now available from Salvage. Tier 3 Salvage Yard... no idea if that matters

Just bought this from the auction house for 800 Gold. I expect that it will be worth much more in the following weeks or months because the only other item with this model, the Darkened Broadsword, is at about 1.600 Gold right now, despite being really common.
The gold model and rarity of this sword could make this a really popular transmog piece.

From reading elsewhere it seems that this item has been in the databases since Cataclysm, but accidentally never made it to any drop lists. The new patch fixes that with salvage.

Just got this for 650 gold never heard or knew about it happy finding great guy knew its low drop rate and didnt charge an obscene amount. Feeling the love
