Important note that isn't obvious by reading the tooltip - "While out of combat, reconfigure for melee combat instead" means when you use out of combat, the stats completely change to strength/agility. And vice versa if you have the strength/agility, use it out of combat for it to switch to intellect.

Got this in my vault as a balance druid and it was in melee combat mode, so strength/agility was showing. Legit thought there was a mistake with assigning my loot and opened a ticket. Only to have a friend tell me the above. Why blizz decided this was good item design is beyond me. Perhaps update the tooltip to say use out of combat to switch main stat to intellect vs strength/agility?

This macro uses the weapon, but only while in combat. If you're not in combat, pressing the macro will do nothing.

I tried simming a heroic 6/6 best-in-slots against a gilded crafted weapon and it was a -70k dps loss according to raidbots. For dev evoker sims.

Guardian/Balance Druid here. It took me a min to parse this out, and do some sim work, but this is an incredible multi-spec weapon. The name is a play on BiS (Best in Slot, multi-spec, plural, for gearing purposes). Best in Slots. Should have been immediately obvious with the "out of combat, another spec stat change" but was having a pretty major brain lockup DUH moment until it hit me like lightning. It's not Djaruun, the ultimate Cat DPS/Bear Tank weapon, but awfully close in uniqueness. And the spec switch over graphic-effect is just another level of sick AWESOME-NESS. Thank You Blizz for another amazing specialty weapon.

Note that while it states that Holy Paladin can drop this, and we normally drop 2-hand int maces all the time, you cannot main spec roll on this on Hpal, so be sure to swap to Ret loot spec if you're playing on Holy.

Also it doesn't list so, but Evokers are able to roll on this too.

Above macro uses trinket first, then when it's on cooldown it will use Best-In-Slots, and will only use it in combat.

Change item: 232526 to 232805 and vice versa for whichever version you want to use!

For all those transmog-lovers like me that wonder where you get the other color variant (red/blue) from:

Equip it, wait for the cooldown to wear off. Out of combat, right click it while equipped.
Unequip it, re-equip it. Now you have the missing color variant!

I buy this mace with puzzling cartel chip for druid balance but his stats is with agillty not intellec. Somone know why? P.S: i saw another druid with this mace who have intellect stat on it.
