The advantage you get from this item instead of healthstones is that if the mob/boss goes into enrage you will have 2000 hp more and it will be easier for the healers

They do now. With the help of a macro, you can shift out, pot, and shift back in the blink of an eye.

Just gotta make sure your global cooldown isn't ticking when you do it or you'll get stuck when shifting back.

I don't know about this "in a blink of an eye" thing. Shifting incurs a 1 second cooldown on all forms. If you get hit during that caster form, he will destroy you, especially if he has a bunch of growths already on which would be the reason for popping the shield.

My advice: Don't!

Can anybody confirm that this works the same way as Last Stand, ie if you under the temporary bonus health level when it wears off, you will go down to 1hp and not die?

Haven't tested this myself, but isn't this especially great for tanks in 1st phase of Reliquary of Souls?
Since you can't really be healed, this 2k buffer would be more than welcome.

One should definitely not underestimate the power of this item.

As a death knight blood tank I find it to stack quite well with Juggernaut's Vitality and Vampiric Blood.

I imagine it will work similar with other tank classes as well (like a warrior's Last Stand or a druid's Survival Instincts).

As far as I'm concerned a tank should always have a couple of these just in case the %^&* hits the fan.

been farming these for about an hour now... haven't got 1 to drop. i remember back in BC i used to get tons when i farmed them. has the drop rate been changed? or is my luck just that horrible right now.
