30*12 = 360 mana per 5 minutes = 6 mp5

mp5 value goes down if you don't use it every time it's cooled. Best use is to get a trinket swap addon, since 3 int and 2 spi aren't a very compelling reason to wear this full-time.

Upon using this trinket (and others like it, I would guess) any non-combat pet (like a cat or snake, for example) disappears and the Jade Owl appears. If you bring out your pet again, the owl will vanish along with the buff; so wait until the mana regeneration has completed and the owl vanishes until you recall your usual pet.

I should also mention that using this trinket will not activate the global cooldown. You can cast a spell, click the trinket, and cast your next spell as usual without any delay. It's likely the same with all other Jewelcrafting trinkets.

This can be activated in an alternate druid forms. I havent hit boomkin yet but once I get a hance to test it Ill let you know, but Im sure if you can trigger it without leaving cat you can in Oomkin.

Decent trinket. I'm using it off and on for my Shammy. Between it and Shamanistic Rage I can go a fair amount of time without drinking.

I see nowhere on here that is actually required JC to use/equip this, just to make it, correct? So you could say PL your JC to get this and then drop JC for something else?

Keep in mind this is one of the earliest equippable trinkets you can make with JC, so if you're leveling an alt with the profession it's nice to have if you're a mana-based class.

Going to make one on my 32 paladin once I get to the requisite level for sure.
