I tried this trinket with my resto druid here's some of my findings, will also update as I find more.

As a resto druid;
- The future self will cast Restorative Sands if there's someone who needs healing. It hits 40k normal, where my Regrowth's initial heal hits 24k. The cast time is 2.5 secs.
- The future self will cast Sand Bolt if there's no one requires healing. However, it deals NO DAMAGE. This seems to be a bug.

As a feral druid;
- The future self auto attacks the target. It did x2 auto attack damage then I do each hit.
- The future self also casts Sand Cleave. Seems to be a dot ability, it tickes 5 times for a total of 25k without crits. It also damages nearby enemies (5 target dummies). However only casts one time. My Rake ticks for 2.2ish, so also seems x2 Rake tick.

As a balance druid:
- The future self only casts Sand Bolt, and also does NO DAMAGE. Might be a details problem.

As a guardian druid:
- The future self only auto attacked the dummies. Did nothing special when I was full hp.
- The future self also only auto attacks even if I am below %50, and actively using mitigations.

TL;DR:
- For heals, seems to be effective. Not like a cooldown but supportive.
- For melees, seems to be effective. Not like a cooldown but supportive.
- For casters, 0 effective as it deals no damage. (Might be fixed in future)
- For tanks, 0 effective as it only auto attacks like a pet.

As ranged hunter, it only cast Sand Bolt.

Using it on cd as BM hunter (because sim told me it's good :\ ) it's roughly 0.5-1% of overall dmg in a full m+ run.

And one interesting thing about the clone is it benefit from Augmentation Evoker's Fate Mirror.

edit: i was speaking solely about the summoned doppelganger sorry XD

Sub Rogue.
No matter what cooldowns or abilities i use the pet always does around 55k damage during its duration on ilvl 402 trinket and has 3min CD, so around 300 dps. nothing impressive, but secondary stat boost is nice i guess.

Seems like the "future version" of yourself is more of a flavour bonus, because that secondary stat buff on top of flat primary stats is just a puzzle box, as someone mentioned below, minus the cast time. Honestly, really nice to have unique spell effects on trinkets!

If you're a pet class, the future version of yourself is treated like a pet. If you normally run your pet on submissive, you'll have to use the pet attack command to force it to start casting after it's summoned by the trinket on use. If you run your pet on assist, it will start casting automatically.
