Nice reward and able to get this in 2 AV runs at most. Great stats adder for rogues and the DPS is not bad as well... You might want to consider this weapon till you find yourself the striders mark or any better epic

To note, for alliance, this crossbow is obtained from the quest line outside the Alterac Valley Entrance in Hillsbrad/Alterac Mountains: "The Battle of Alterac." The quest line was changed a little, and some may be mislead when not seeing this in the rewards at first. You will be given a follow up quest immediately after handing it in, that lets you choose Bloodseeker as a reward.

Hehe with this xbow, I can add aimed shot in my shot rotation without losing much autoshot dps.

As a hunter, I would personally go for Ice Barbed Spear. This provides GREAT stats that will make lower lvl bows just as powerful... and tbh when I changed from a lvl 40 bow to a lvl 50, i only noticed a few damage per hit difference, and with the polearms stat boosts that will last u well into hellfire peninsula, it cant be beaten by a few extra DPS

I took this bow when I had the chance... And the Nerubian Slavemaker, an epic crossbow, just barely beats it. It's available to use at level 60 from the Baron Rivendare "Kessel Run" event. There's not a bow, crossbow, or gun until you can get your hands on the Coilfang Needler (And even then, that's a white DPS upgrade, while being a bit of an overall downgrade) from Slave Pens second boss, Rokmar the Crackler. It is truly amazing.

For dwarves who are determined to use a gun, http://www.wowhead.com/?item=16004 is a very nice weapon to get when your 50 and then you can upgrade to an outlands AH green in 7-8 levels.
Blood seeker is an amazing xbow though.

its more that this should be a discusion aboud the bow, not aboud what to choose from this quest, you can do that at the page of the quest :)

This bow just owns for a rogue, best till you come in OL, and rlly easy to get.
For hunters just the same none with higher dps, just some with a bit more agi.

Choice for Rogues, as they can't use Polearms. Bad reward, but at least rogues have the best use for the Insignia Rank 6, with the dodge rating.

I would go for spear as a hunter more because this are more hunter suited and and only come level later bone bow and there is the one in blacckrock spire and the spear is hard to beat.Although My statemment might not be true to others because i have Dwarven hand cannon.

Great weapon, much better than either of the heirloom ranged weapons until they gain Outland stats at level 58, especially for marksman.

For my hunter at level 57 the Bloodseeker has 66 higher top-end damage than the heirloom bow (both fitted with +12 scopes).

From 51 it gives you seven levels of epic quality - unbeatable.
