Battlegrounds may not be your thing... but if you use a dagger for DPS and don't mind running AV, then this worth getting. One of the best blue daggers in the game and you only need to be Revered rep with the Frostwolf Clan. You'll find that this is popular dagger with good reason.

Yes, great dagger for PvP. My rogue has one, and I'm going for The Lobotomizer next. I recommend you get this dagger. It is good for PvP and PvE. A must have!

I am thinking about using this (with firey) as Main Hand and Scout's Blade as off-hand to get me ready for outlands.

IMO unless you are doing the AV BG anyway, don't spend the extra time to get this dagger as you will get dagger rewards in outlands like 'hellfire skiver' within the first four quests at thrallmar. Get Don Julio's Band and move on.
