By the time you can use this item, you won't need it.
If you could time all dungeons on +19 keys with only 236 conduits in 9.1.5 then you will be able to time all +20 keys in 9.2 long before you even get to 252 conduits which was the 0.1.5 maximum.
Even if they made this item account bound the requirements make no sense at all.
Despite releasing a crappy nothing but bugs patch the changes they were making were going so well and here we are with Blizzard falling right back into their BS ways.
Just trying to hold us back so we will have to keep grinding.
It is almost like they don't understand, if we are forced to play the game and grind in order to get to the point where we can finally max everything out and start playing the game for fun...then the game isn't fun and people will stop playing long before that.

Great, you can upgrade your conduits when you don't longer need them, because you already defeated the last boss and only wait for the next expansion.

Increases my Damage by 0.5% so unless you're not super midmaxing and just farming it for fun and completion dont stress yourself.

Doesn't upgrade covenant specific conduits of covenants you're not a part of. Makes sense and all, but still a bit annoying to have to swap to every covenant you play and buy an extra of these to use it.

Id say it is not the hardest part to get achievement on all alts you want to play, but to do $%^ing campaign all over if you want to buy item. Smooth AF as always Blizzard #muchlove

This is incredibly frustrating. It's also a completely 180 from the previous TWO patches where they allowed players to grind out max level conduits. I much preferred being able to slowly collect and max out conduits versus this.

Locking a player power increase from gear is more than enough. Locking power increase to a SYSTEM behind it is inconsistent with last two patches and hell, even last expansion. Remember Azerite Essenses? COSMETICS were locked behind achievements. I'm fine with better players maxing out conduits FASTER than the rest of us, but PLEASE allow the casuals to max out a very temporary system at SOME point.

this reminds me of past xpacs, " Blizz- you want this item? ok go kill this boss and loot this x10 , but memba it only drops in mythic and its a1% chance to drop and the whole raid has to roll on it! Blizz - congratz you got all of the items to make your special item, yay.. but sorry it took you 3 xpacs and the items is useless"

I did a 20 intime and got an achievement 'Shadowlands dungeon hero' - was expecting to get a 278 conduit but - nothing. Read up here and it tells me to go to the Quartermaster for my covenant which would be Aithlyn in Ardenweald. Went there - nothing ! Also noticed if I click this link for Aithlyn above there is no mention of Vessel of Profound Possibilities in the list of what she has for us. So n ow I am confused. The descriptrion says you need ONE 'S. Dungeon Hero' (lvl 20 intime) . is this misleading ? Clarification would be appreciated !

Despite what some other comments here have said, as of 8/3/2022 this item does upgrade ALL conduits on a single character, including those from other covenants (ex. if you use this item while you're Necrolord it will also upgrade the covenant-specific conduits for Kyrian, Night Fae, and Venthyr).

Besides the change in cost, no changes for this item were documented from S3 to S4. Supposedly, some (unannounced) changes were made to the S4 version of the item that will grant all 278 covenant conduits rather than just your active covenant. If you earned this in S3 and only used it once, it's likely you're missing 3 of the covenant conduits and should reach out to Blizzard CS for conduits missing as a result of this bug. Who's to say that you won't need to spend 30,000 flux for the other 3 conduits? The functionality of the item hasn't changed according to their documentation, so you should assume the same outcome as the S3 item that was sold for gold.

!CAUTION!
NOWHERE does it say that it LOWERS your conduits. However, IT DOES! If you have a conduit above 278, it will lower it to 278. I found this out the hard way!

For those of you that may be returning to the Shadowlands, this item is still available for purchase for 10,000 Cosmic Flux at your covenant's faction quartermaster (not to be confused with the Renown quartermaster). There are no other requirements.

melt them down for the flux so you can get this jewel!

if you change covs and get new to plug in..
will new conduits added after this auto upgrade to 278?
