I'd have to say that this shield is BETTER than Sacred Protector. I used this bad boy until I got my Red Dragonscale Protector. It does have a very low drop rate. I lost count of how many times I killed that stupid Goblin for this shield when I was a lowbie Pally.

This is a great shield also for Shamans.
Great for restoration and elemental Shamans and useful for enhancement too.
The +4mana/5sec regeneration makes it very useful.

The new Crest of Supremacy available from Sunken Temple in patch 2.3 has the same stats plus:

5 more stam
95 more armor
3 more block
req lvl 51

So the crest offers a little more for tanking pallys, though it doesn't look as cool.

Pally stats for sure, but it looks so awesome I would try and get it for my warrior even though there are probably better shields for that class.

Engineers should be able to make mecha-shields like this one. :D

For all your transmogrifiers out there, this is indeed transmogrify-able

I took the wind rider to Desolace, hopped on my magic carpet, flew to entrance, went into ghost wolf, ran past 90% of the mobs, went left into the Purple side, around a few corners and there was Gizlock

Easy kill, port out and transmogrify
Took less than 15 mins total.
This is basically the same type of shield as the Force Reactive Disk but much easier to get.

Looks great all spinning around.

I like the skin of this shield and I think this sword will match perfectly. Do you have an idea for other plate gear which can make the robotic outlook of the toon? (except engineering googles they are a must =p)

Hey folks.

I wouldn't say the drop rate is 30% FYI... I just got it on the 16th try.

Of the first fifteen, 9 dropped the rifle and 6 dropped the sword.

This just dropped for my paladin on my 2nd attempt. Not too bad, and it's an awesome looking shield. Will be very cool for my gnome warrior when gnome heritage armor drops!
