This works by giving you a parachute when you are falling over a distance that would kill you it seems. You cannot steer the parachute.

UPDATE: Like most gnomish things it isn't perfect. I have managed to die from fall damage a few times. On a positive note the bouncy jellies triggered it and slowed the falling while being able to steer so it was incredibly easy.

After testing it for a day, I have to admit, this is a powerful card and I'd prioritize it over any other blue card.
It works by deploying slow fall parachute (30 sec duration), which keeps the horizontal speed, but you cannot steer it. After some testing, it triggers after around 2 seconds of falling, regardless of whether you have slow fall or not.

The two most important parts are:
a) This parachute works everywhere. It will prevent your falling damage not only in open world, but also in raids (which is perfect for triggering fire traps on Jadefire Masters) as well as battlegrounds (tested on Arathi Basin).
b) It has no cooldown.

Overall, it's a very strong card with many uses, although you have to be aware that because it can trigger multiple times in the same fall (after cancelling the parachute buff), you might need to cancel it multiple times (or drop the trinket) if you want to fall fast.

this card, seems to drop from both operation mechagon trash. (mainly the gnomes from what i can tell) and the fight club chest. i hope others find this helpful. and yes, on a monk, it does not share the issue of regular parachutes as it does not need to wait ~10 seconds after using roll or flying serpent kick. this makes this card super useful for getting around without flying.

This thing is a big inconvenience. If the knock back / fall damage mechanic in a dungeon or raid is big enough, it will deploy and your trajectory becomes unpredictable. Also, you can't remove the 'slow fall' buff because it automatically returns after falling for 2 seconds, which makes using the goblin glider tough.

Got this item on my rogue today. The cool thing with this Blue Card is that it works with Survivor's Coin Bag. Combine the two and you can basicly glide across long distances and have fun while being in the air!

Not reliable enough to be useful in a general sense, without some backup. If the chute doesn't come out, have something else ready.

In particular, the chute did not deploy for me when jumping off the elevator in Black Wing Descent the first time. When I tried again and bubbled on the way down, it deployed at the last instant, just before Ianding.

It may still be extremely useful in some situations, though, so worth hanging onto imho.

I have found this card invaluble in Shadowlands!
No cost to use, infinite re-use, just remember to equip it out of combat, the 口袋计算装置 trinket can even be equipped *while* falling with no cooldown.

Be sure to remove this if you're doing the Darkmoon Faire minigame 炮弹飞人, because it will cause you to overshoot the target so far that you get fatigue.
