The toy has a 1 minute cooldown and when you use it, you just grab some popcorn out of a bag. Wish the animation was at least two mouthfulls, but it's a short cd.

On use, there is a written emote " munches on some popcorn".

This should've put your character into a popcorn-eating animation as long as you stay stationary. What's the point of only eating one handful of popcorn at a time?

The effect is so small and fast that you might not even notice it on your toon, but there's an emote with it. Also, it's cheap and easy to find, so there's that.

And at least it's not another campfire.

Does the emote go zone wide? I was leveling out in the Broken Isles and I kept seeing it in chat with seemingly not a lot of people around me.

wow! what a joke! 1 handful of popcorn for like 2 seconds lame blizzard very lame! you should have at least given it say a 30 second animation of toon eating popcorn, stops if toon moves, and showing several handfuls being eaten!

A quick warning if you're thinking of buying this toy!

The way the toy currently functions is that your character will "munch" on their popcorns a single time with the animation lasting about 1 second. After that you're forced to wait a full minute before you can use the toy again.

I was misled by the screenshots into thinking that the animation lasted longer (or until cancelled) but that is not the case. Unless you're simply collecting toys like I am, I would recommend not wasting your time or resources on this toy.

The animation is insanely short. I added it to my warlocks dot macro which results in my character munching on popcorn while casting dots.

Just bought it, they must have fixed the animation. because my character was munching on popcorns for several seconds.

The emote for this item used to be hearable by people from very large distances away, which caused a lot of confusion. It was eventually fixed, with probably one of my favorite patch notes in quite some time.

"The sound of Hot Buttered Popcorn no longer travels far across zones."

Blizz must have hot fixed it, it now lasts about 10 seconds and your toon munches on 4 handfuls instead of 1.
