Unable to apply at this time to Mindbender, which replaces Shadowfiend when selected. Also only available for Discipline spec which I didn't realise when I purchased the glyph. (It seems obvious to be disc only but I was curious to see a shadowy Lightspawn :D)

Taking Mindbender again after applying the glyph doesn't alter the Mindbender, and going back to Shadowfiend keeps it as Lightspawn for as long as you have the glyph applied.

It's somewhat annoying that the tooltip does not explain that this glyph cannot be used in shadow-specialization. "Use: Transforms your Shadowfiend into a Lightspawn." Shadow-Priests DO use a Shadowfiend, so there is no way to know these Shadowfiends are excluded from the glyph.

The Lightspawn looks similar to Sol (the follower/bodyguard).

Does the Lightspawn deals holy damage? or does it still deals shadow damage like the Shadowfiend?

Now that Shadowfiend is a "Priest" spell and not just Disc, I'm hoping Holy specs can use this glyph...

With the new Dragonflight talent system, I'm able to use Shadowfiend as a Holy priest, but when trying to use the Glyph of Lightspawn on the Shadowfied, does not work. Anybody else having the same problem?

As of right now, this Glyph DOES in fact, work for Holy Priests. Rejoice!

Not sure if it was already a known thing, but this does affect the Mindbender as well. If you're specced in to it, just spec out, use the glyph, then spec back in. Hope this does help people!

As of today, this glyph works as Disc/Holy while using Mindbender. You must unlearn the talent first apply the glyph and then relearn the talent for mindbender.
