Frenzied Fangtooth is found around the coastal waters of the three Kul'tiras zones (Drustvar, Stormsong Valley & Tiragarde Sound).

So don't bother fishing for it on the Horde island or in inland waters.

These can be fished from Frenzied Fangtooth pools or from open water on the coast. They fish up at a pretty decent rate from open water. I'm getting about 50% Frenzied Fangtooth and 50% Lane Snapper from fishing in Tiragarde Sound with maxed fishing skill.

So I did 100 casts in the open water around noon (in game time), right of the Boralus Dock while leveling fishing and here are my results:

41 Lane Snapper
41 Frenzied Fangtooth
18 Greys

Assuming you don't get greys as your skill gets higher, it's a solid 50% rate for both the Frenzied Fangooth and the Lane Snapper. Side note, included in these casts, I also got the following:

1 Midnight Salmon
1 Mount

Stormsong Valley, Seawatch Point (50,24), safe for both Alliance and Horde (on a Horde char).
3 x 100 casts, about 20 min each, max fishing, nothing extra.

First 100 casts (day time):

58 Frenzied Fangtooth
39 Lane Snapper
1 Midnight Salmon*
2 grey items

Second 100 casts (also day time):

53 Frenzied Fangtooth
45 Lane Snapper
1 Midnight Salmon*
1 grey item

Third 100 casts (around 10 pm):

38 Frenzied Fangtooth
52 Lane Snapper
6 Midnight Salmon*
4 grey items

*Note the increased drop rate for Midnight Salmon on 3rd set of 100 casts (night time), compared to 1st and 2nd (day time)

Hey guys i needed 20 for world quest specifically for alchemy ..
i came to this location in Stormsong Valley ( 52.0 , 24.4 ) i stood on the Dock-master's Boat threw the fishing bobber exactly 50
got 30/50 frenzied fangtooth and 20 lane snapper .
So that is by far the best location like 60% rate to fish Frenzied fang-tooth

Went to Seawatch Point aswell, stood on the small dock (51.7 / 24.2).
400 casts yelded
189 Frenzied Fangtooth
192 Lane Snapper
6 Midnight Salmon
13 grey items

Pretty happy with this, total auction house payout 30945 gold on my server.
