Dropped for me off of Lich King (H25). It is a very high drop rate or RNG loves me. I received 3 of them in 5 runs.

Might be a Lich King (any difficulty) drop, but I can't confirm this.

This drops on heroic and not on normal. I killed the Lich king four times on 16 different characters (64 in total) without a single drop.

I then killed him 10 times on heroic and found it.

Looted this item about 30 min ago from the Lick King (25m H)

Clicked it in bags and get the glowing around my character of having added the pet to my collection but the item remains in my bag and the pet isn't added.

Tried reloading ui, logging out then back in, moving the item from one bag to another, no luck (yet). :-S

Figured it out.

After I turned off all addons and reloaded ui I was able to see a "Can't add companion to your account" message upon clicking the item.

Turns out I had too many pets already to add another one. I released a grey and was then able to click the item and add the Wicked Soul to my collection.

My issue was not related to this particular item.

Looks like I have so management of my pet list to do...

Drops from Lich King in ICC and drops only from heroic difficulty and is part of the achievement 缰绳来袭IV：巫妖汪之怒. There is a 2nd pet that drops from the Lich King now, also part of the Leash achievement - 苦工遗体 which drops only on normal. As this one seems to be cheaper and more frequent than the normal pet, buy this from the AH and run only NORMAL ICC.

Why does it say under contained in "The Captain's Chest" from the Lich King in the Halls of Reflection. I only ask because the top comment says ICC and all the other drops are def in raids as in "Raiding with Leashes". I'm guessing it's a typo because it's so ridiculous sounding.

Got it both from Normal and Heroic difficulty... no drop from Drudge Ghoul tho :(((
