This is a very nice replacement for the Warlock's Robe of the Void.

Robe of the Void has largely been rendered obsolete, with the release of BC. This item is also much more obtainable. The material cost is far lower. Also, as a BOP item, someone else can make it for you.

The most difficult item for me to get to make this is the Felcloth x 12.
I am able to sell the robe for 150g even when buying the Felcloth on AH, it still made a nice profit. The Felcloth cost about 3-4g ea on my server. If you don't have the money to invest, I recommend visiting Vi"el the exotic reagent vendor in Winterspring http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=16015 to pick up Felcloth for only 80s ea. He only sells 1-2 cloth at a time every few hours. Farming the cloth will take a very long time, so buying it from AH is the method I use. This robe is a good money maker for me, I usually sell it within 24 hours of posting.

Yes this is a very good robe and it doesn't take to long to farm for, i was in a cave in winterspring farming for rugged leather when this item dropped, it only took about 15 minutes, my server doesn't have a very high population so i haven't found any other people with this pattern although no one has asked to buy it from me even when i have repeatedly said free with mats in trade.

For posterity, the reason this robe is called Robe of Winter Night is that it used to give Shadow and Frost spell damage before the change to generic spellpower.

Got this for 5 gold on my server. The Felcloth ALONE is worth 3 times that. Note that the pattern for this is BOP, so if you're farming for it you need to be on a tailoring character.

It appears that as of 4.0.3 the pattern has been removed (gone from my tailor's spell list even) but robes that were already made still remain in the game.

This robe uses the "Blue" variant of the "C2 Robe" artwork.

If you're interested in other pieces from the same same artwork set and colour:
Head: 导风者法冠
Shoulders: 贤者衬肩, 逐风披肩, 女巫衬肩, 天国肩铠, 天国肩铠 (latter 3 are all on different models)
Together the three pieces look like this. The robe has much more purple than the head and shoulders, but they definitely belong to the same colour set.

The matching belt from the artwork is sadly not in the game. If it was it'd look very much like 薄纱腰带, only a paler yellow to match the designs on this robe. There's artwork for slippers as well, but they're also not used in the game. If they were in the game they'd look like the foot half of 奥蒂的刺绣软靴, only blue with yellow lines instead of red with purple lines

There aren't any bracers or gloves in the set artwork.
