Dropped in our raid tonight off trash. A priest looted it, nobody else could see it so I guess that's what it means by "players can _win_ this item"

After raid this item arrived in my mailbox sent from the Postmaster. The loot setting was on Master Looter.

This item drops from the trash in Hellfire Citadel and since the 6.2 patch release, all BoE drops in Hellfire are Personal Loot. You'll get a trash drop which you can use for your class.

Leather for leather users, cloth for cloth users, etc, etc.

The Personal loot only choice for trash drops came from all the Pug raidgroup leaders reserving the BoE's for them self, this is Blizzards way to prevent this from happening again.

Blizzard reaaallly hate Mages and their Belts uh?..... First the ICC25H one.. then this one..
I think there was even one on ToT as well...

Best way to get (from My experiance) is to kill the two first Bosses in the instance ”hellfire assault” and ”iron reaver” then kill all the mobs until ”Hellfire High Council” loot all the mobs then go kill all the mobs to the right>Kormrok make sure to not kill either of those Bosses then log off wait 30 mins for the reset and do that until it drops. The waist dropoed for me on My mage but i’m sure it can drop on any cloth wearer. Hope this helps good luck with the Hunt ❤️

anyone looted this at shadowlands? i've done the first wing on several cloth characters many many times waiting for the 30min respawn on the mobs and it doesnt drop :(( #cry

Drop rate doesn't seem so bad, I was expecting a lot worse.
Was able to get both normal and heroic from running HFC on N/H/M on both my 60 mages, along with some boe boots.
I'd definitely recommend killing everything you can.

I got my Cord of Unhinged Malice by killing the first two bosses, farming the ads up to Kormrok and Hellfire High Council (without killing those bosses) and then just running out and letting the raid do a soft reset after 30mins. I had 6 clothie alts parked outside the raid ready to go, and by the time I had worked my way through all of them the 30mins was almost up and I could get back on the first alt I ran it on and go again. I did this for a few hours everyday for about a week, and after reset I had two more alts that I could run it with as well (they were locked out when I started farming). This belt dropped for me from the ads in Kormrok's room, right after Desiccated Soulrender Slippers dropped, just a few ads earlier in the same run. They do still exist! Good luck!

Dropped for me on Heroic after about 50 runs. I had several clothie toons clear the first 2 bosses, then went on them regularly to kill the trash up until Kromok and High Council (without killing them). The belt dropped from the second pack of mobs you encounter after going into the building, next to the stairs leading to High Council wing.

Dropped for me on Normal from Sargerei mobs before Socrethal the Eternal, first run.

Been trying to get the Heroic version forever now, finally dropped after doing the previously mentioned farming strat of only killing the first two bosses and soft resetting of the trash mobs between the council and Kormrok. Took several tries of doing this (not doing it every 30mins, would say ever hour or so, didn't get too deep into this). For me, it dropped from the mobs that are immediately in front of the door of the citadel. GL to all!
