From an alt-gearing perspective, it is interesting to compare this to the Timewalking Trinket option, 精魄.

This is ilvl670 with 231 Int, it is ilvl675 with 190 Int. It's spell, when scaled to 100 at least, reads: "Your direct healing and heal over time spells have a chance to increase your haste by 1085 for 10 sec." where this one's is 1370.

My guess is, since this is such an old item brought new each year, it is still treated as if an epic quality has a higher stat budget than a rare item. Thus, while this item is a lower item level, it seems like it is a better fit for haste based healers.

Anyone know the drop rate on this item?
It seems quite low as out of 20 runs it never dropped.

In CM, this trinket scales to 159 Int and 945 Haste. If it procs immediately after the ICD is up, you get 172 Haste effectively. However, assuming a more realistic 60s interval, it's 157.5 haste. Compare that to the baleful trinket with 159 Int and 159 static haste and you have a decent trinket if you prefer random procs.

For some odd reason, my level 94 mage got this trinket today. Last I heard, mages don't have any kind of self heal anymore.

My level 114 warlock (affliction) got this trinket today, it seems to drop regardless of your loot specialization.

Another frustrating "no loot" drop if you are the wrong class, much like the 马蒂瓦斯的华丽淡水囊 - the only difference being that you can sell 马蒂瓦斯的华丽淡水囊 for 1 copper. This thing is completely useless if you aren't heals as can't scrap it, can't sell it and I assume can't disenchant it. Blizz would probably say you can trade it to a healer in your group but come on this is a holiday event 1 boss run. People stick around for about a second once it's done lol. At least if they made these types of loot bind-to-account people wouldn't feel so ripped off having to delete a 395 epic to get rid of it out of your bag.
