Because searching for this made me feel like the biggest idiot in creation: if you are a non-scribe attempting to start work orders at the Scribe's Quarters, you can mill pigments by using a little ore to create the Draenic Mortar (talk to the inscription trainer in the building). The mortar will allow you to mill herbs without training Inscription.

Talador Orchid looks to be the best herb for milling due to it being used only in Stamina food/gems/flasks, which tends to be the least desired stat to buff, especially later into an expansion

Macro for easy milling of every herb!

Essentially this is a two-part macro. Rather than getting stuck in your bags when you hit an uneven stack of herbs/ore, it will skip them and move on to larger stacks further on in your bags. It will also update your current icon to show whichever herb you are milling and however much you have left.

MILLING MACRO 1
(Can be named whatever you want, and just needs to run once upon login)

Having a follower with the 铭文 trait at your 铭文师之家等级2 awards you the option of creating a 德拉诺贸易订单 ONCE a day. To do this, you must speak with your assigned, Inscription follower who will give you a chance to create a full 德拉诺贸易订单 using:

蔚蓝颜料 x 4
轻羊皮纸 x 2

Doing so will award you with two 霸王收据（随机）:

To speed up milling, use the following macro:

#showtooltip milling
/cast Milling
/use <herb>

(e.g. /use Gorgrond Flytrap)

If you don't want to mill a flower (e.g. Frostweed since it's used in the dailies), just leave that out. Once you've saved the macro, drag the button to your bar and mash away.

no need for macros to mill. takes way to long that way. go to curse and get "Molinari"....just hold alt key down and click yr herb stack and ur done. easy peasy
