The int proc is decent, but as others have pointed out, the cleave proc is useless on single-target fights. Since it has no stats on it, you're really only going to want to replace very old trinkets with this. However, as the new SoO trinkets have no +hit on them (eg 伊墨苏斯的净化之缚), you can freely swap them in and out depending on the encounter. You might find some use for this trinket on fights with a lot of adds (I tried it on Sha of Pride), or even just have some fun with it on trash and watch the numbers fly! At its peak, 顺劈斩 was the second highest contributor to my dps.

In very narrow circumstances, this trinket is extremely powerful.

The cleave effect can occur off of DoT ticks, which means in a council-style fight where the bosses either share a health pool (or don't heal when another councillor dies) multidotting with this trinket will significantly increase your total DPS.

The cleave effect is completely useless in single-target fights and of only limited use in fights with a lot of little adds that die quickly. For an Affliction warlock or similar dot-heavy spec it is very powerful in a fight like Council of Elders in the Throne of Thunder because there's several bosses that don't go down fast and there's time in the fight for those procs to actually go off reliably over the course of the encounter. It's possible that, in that specific kind of encounter, it might even be BiS.

Unfortunately, there really aren't a lot of opportunities to use this in Siege of Orgrimmar itself, which is where it drops. The only real council-style fight in the entire instance is Paragons of the Klaxxi, and they heal to full when one of the other Klaxxi dies, rendering the cleave effect moot. It did increase my Affliction warlock's total DPS in the Kor'kron Dark Shaman encounter (over the Volatile Talisman of the Shado-Pan Assault, for reference), but it's probably not BiS with only two targets.

In short, if you're a dotter, get one of these into your inventory and pull it out for the handful of fights it will help you on and put it away for everything else.

Does the cleave happen to look different for different classes? I'm a Balance Druid, and it appears as a Starfire spell.

Just thought I'd share for lulz.

Was doing the Heroic Scenario where the goblin turns into the Echo of Ysharj. All was fine, but my party was struggling at the very end of the fight. Boss was at 30% when my Warforged Bindings of Immerseus and this trinket procced. Lit up my 3min CD and blasted him. When he hit 19%, let out shadowburns for 8 million damage on 3 embers. I was like wut. This trinket cleaved all the adds for 450k dps at 561 item level.

This trinket sucks, but it has its niche uses for EPIC burns.

As a Disc Priest on 10H Dark Shamans, I find this trinket useful when splitting the raid 2 and 8.
If you do the 2/8 split, you have one healer and one tank down below with Kardris who summons the blobs. In that application, it's useful to help AOE the adds down.

For those using Weakauras, or any other addon to track the proc, the intellect buff this gives is called Extravagant Visions. This is a great proc, and combined with Purified Bindings of Immerseus can cause massive burst damage.
