This is the most adorable bug I have ever had the pleasure of raising from a baby <3 ever since I found out you can finally keep Kovok as your own I've been determined to get him, since I'm like a mantid fanatic.

Although I had to sell my soul to obtain my own little guy, it was SO worth it! Also his abilities feel incredible as heck. Eat Brains sounds like a standard but it's hard to put that in the place of Pheromones, so it deals so much damage to background pets. Set up a couple DoTs with my Kovok then bring in the sweepers and things just die.

Edit: Sadly pheromones got that 50% nerf since I wrote this, and I'm not quite sure how good it is as of now >.<

Use 奔波尔小圣 and his Righteous Inspiration ability then summon Kovok and use Pheromones= Win
you can also use Spawn of G'nathus AoE ability if you prefer, both is i win.

For those out there like me, who decided to farm the pet ourselves because of the ridiculous price on AH (150k on my server), but kept running into the annoying bug with bosses stuck being un-attackable in the Paragon encounter.
The fix is simple: wait for the Paragons to finish their dialogues before clicking Mantid Amber. The dialogue is what was causing them to bug out.

Edited: Got the pet on the 47th kill since I started farming, blackfuse pet didn't drop during that though.

Also, a note for those trying to farm this pet with an extended lockout: the gates before the Paragons and after the Iron Juggernaut tend to bug out (not openable) if you extend the lockout with every boss before them killed. So always leave the boss before them alive (Blackfuse and Galakras) when creating the lockout .
