Just got this off Bling-a-tron. The actual pet is green btw once you've learned it then caged it. Haven't seen anyone else with it so far. It's a rare drop so I'm hoping big money for it

So yesterday I used my blingtron and the present contained the usual rubbish, however, I was low on bag space so I just closed the present and left it in my bag until after the patch went live. I decided to do a few things before heading over to the timeless isles for the first time and happened to kill a regular jinyu mob and it dropped Cheif Engineer Jard's Journal. I was supprised it dropped from the first mob I killed in 5.4. Any ways back to Lil' Bling. I went to my bag to use the journal and saw my present that had contained junk the night before, now having the bag space I intended to take the junk out, but upon opening it the inventory had changed and included Lil' Bling. I don't know if the changing of inventory is exclusive to patches or resests as a whole or maybe it was a glitch unrelated. My Bling was an uncommon quality pet and quite pimpin' with that smackthat.exe. Hope you guys get lucky in your search for him as well.

The only useable ability he has when you acquire him at level 1 is SMACKTHAT.EXE, and I'd vouch for it having the best animation of any battle pet move ever. He "surprises" the other pet by teleporting behind it and using the male gnome ass-slapping dance animation.
I'm leveling him up purely for that one move.

I highly doubt its really 0.02% chance to drop since I got two of these in 4 gift packages, I may have been lucky, but 1 out of a million lucky ? I doubt it.

The drop rate isn't quite as rare as Wowhead states. Lil bling was recently added, and WoWhead doesn't reset the count when new items are added. So as time goes on, it'll very likely go up from the 0.07% (as of today) to somewhat higher. Don't let the "low" drop rate fool you early on into spending big bucks on the AH for one. They are more common than you think, and due to them being account wide, once people hit their third, they will have nothing better to do than sell them on the AH, and before long, there will be quite a few up there, I'm sure. So, give it a little time and you will either find one in a box, or find them cheaper on the AH in the near future. Save your gold unless you're rich or simply impatient.

This must be a common drop since I keep buying out these things from one guy and he keeps replenishing his stock with another 20 or so. The 0.5% drop rate is way off.

Seems like Lil' Bling got a buff in the 6.0 patch. I had learned two previously as they were both green quality. They are now both blue quality.
