These sets are the same as the previously removed level 70 HWL/GM gear they just took the names off them and made them purchasable with money instead of honor and marks.

This is going to be incredibly helpful for upgrading gear when you hit 70, allowing you to instance for specific pieces gear instead of being pretty crappy until you get the glad set.

I think by around 70, you could pick up the gloves and the shoulders to get the +35 resilience while you PVP for the three other pieces of Gladiator gear. I suggest the gloves and the shoulders because they would be the cheapest to optimize. You could use the lesser shoulder enchant from Scryer or Aldor and there are fairly inexpensive glove enchants available as well.

I would avoid the helm because metas are over 100g each and I would avoid legs because armor patches are over 100g each.

Comparing Satin with Dreadweave, from the point of view of a shadow priest looking to use these in pve mostly:

If you chose Dreadweave over Satin, you gain/lose:
+28 damage/h
+6 Spell hit

-7 stamina
-3 intellect

You lose 1 red socket
Gain 1 blue socket

So, in my opinion, if you are a shadow priest, who wants to do pve, I would choose the Dreadweave set over Satin, but for pvp, I would still go with Satin.

Warlocks, they get the good set no matter what, figures...

Obtainable through Caverns of Time instances.

Requires Thrallmar (Horde) or Honor Hold (Alliance) Honored.
Obtainable through Hellfire Citadel Instances and Hellfire Peninsula quests.

Satin Leggings
Requires Lower City Honored.
Obtainable through quests in Lower City, as well as Auchindoun Instances.

Satin Mantle
Requires Sha'tar Honored.
Obtainable through Tempest Keep instances, and various Quests. Only hub is in South Western Bone Wastes, In Terokkar Forest. (Refer to te post below this one for more information).

Satin Robe
Requires Cenarion Expedition Honored.
Obtainable through Coilfang instances, and quests in Cenarion Refuge (Zangarmarsh)

I was thinking this would be a awesome set to get when i hit 70...man am i disappointed. Took a loss on +dmg, int and armor, and theres no crit(unsocketed of course). But i guess its better once socketed, and it looks better than all the random blues i was wearing =\
