I'm sure this is meant to be the enhancement shamans set but it lacks many stats that an enhancement shamans feeds off of. The intellect on it is seriously lacking, even as enhance spec a shaman still relies heavily on intellect, especially if they bring their dps to a raid setting where they would then have to rely on manaspring and the 41point talent to keep them SS's and ES'ing. the strength only makes up for 176 AP, not too bad but there are better 5 peice sets out there for the enhance shaman. Not to mention that there is no +hit on it at all, which if your DW (and most likely are if you are raiding as enhance) is a big downfall. The crit rate is very nice but the lack of +hit and intellect make this more of a desperate starting place for new lvl 70 enhancement shamans that decide to just pvp for starting gear.

Remember one thing guys, this is only blue, not epic. If it were epic, it would probably have +hit on hit (probably). However, the arena set isn't much better...

@ Marmel: Why are you talking about this set and PvE? This set is for PvP only, and +hit isn't THAT important. Plus I'd go 2h in PvP, not DW.

umm ok all fine and dandy but what else should i be looking for? is there a alot better set out there more attaneable or should i just saw screw it and go for it? and if so what gems should i put in? and any other tips would kinda be appreciated.im a 70shaman and iv always been resto (i tryed SS but not a serious attempt).So i dont really know much about the whole SS spec

Apparently in patch 2.4 there will be a new, identical in stats set available from reputation in Outland:

Assuming you have the reputation (and probably gold) this new Seer's set will probably be fast and easy to obtain; quickly making you more PvP viable and allowing you to gain honor/do arenas more.

any suggestions for the sockets?
i was thinking of putting northrend rare attackpower gems in it
and in the meta socket stam and crit rating
and the yellow crit rating
