Ignoring the current looks of the gear model (I hope they are redoing it, it's a bit too alike the Dragon Soul tier), the set looks quite solid for an expansion entry tier. Expansion tiers' set bonuses tend to improve across the expansion. The first tier is usually a bit situation and somewhat rubbish, and, as you reach the final one, it tends to be quite forceful for a raider to have the setbonus.
First, the statistics: 4.66 mastery, 4,89% haste, about 2,8% hit, about 5000 spell power, and more than 1,5% crit. Could be better, but then again, it's the first tier of the expansion...

I'm satisfied with this being the beginning tier set, for both stats and cosmetics. It reminds me of a bishop chess piece. I'll be hiding or xmoging the helm though; it isn't my favorite. :)

Mastery is the least valuable stat for shadow priests at the moment (basically a dot-only crit) and yet we get 3 items with mastery:(

This set is terrible. Mastery is equal to haste and more than crit? *One* red gem slot but two each of blue and yellow. Is there a Priest DPS spec other than Shadow that I should know about?
