Under the Covenant system in the WoW Shadowlands expansion, players can earn special transmog sets. In this post, we highlight all of the armor sets and cloak attachments from the Venthyr Covenant, associated with the Shadowlands zone of Revendreth. You will also find links to all of the armor sets in Wowhead's Shadowlands Dressing Room, allowing you to preview the armor on your character.

How to Acquire the Venthyr Covenant Armor Set
Covenant Armor Sets are armor pieces with appearances closely resembling the Covenant of your choice in Shadowlands. Most of those sets are cosmetic and meant to be used for transmogrification purposes.
There are twelve different tints for the Venthyr Covenant armor set, earned through a variety of activities done within your Covenant - Completing the Covenant storyline, earning Renown, progressing through the Ember Court system, found through the Venthyr's blood network travel system, or completing different 9.1 activities. Below, we have sources for all tints, as well as how to obtain each tint.
9.1 Venthyr Covenant Armor Sets
There are eight available tints for the Venthyr Covenant armor sets in 9.1, and these can be obtained by completing different activities in Chains of Domination.

9.0 Venthyr Covenant Armor Sets
There are four available tints for the Venthyr Covenant armor sets, and these can be obtained by completing different activities within the Venthyr Covenant.
Venthyr Campaign - Ebony
This set will be given out as quest rewards through the Venthyr Campaign.
Starting at Chapter 3 of the Covenant storyline, you will earn different pieces through the campaign.
In case you delete a specific piece of gear and want it back, you can purchase them from

The Travel Network set can be obtained after unlocking the final tier of the
Venthyr Blood Mirror Network
, Mirror's Edge. With this final upgrade, you are able to repair broken mirrors around Revendreth and enter secret areas. In those areas, you can find chests and enemies, and these can drop the Burnished set pieces.

Based on Venthyr cloth set and Necrolords' different back crystal attachments I'm quite convinced the particle effects on helms/shoulders/etc. will also have different recolours for all covenants, which is good.
I like that Venthyr cloth users can also go full void or full light themed armor with matching eye glow, not just all red and bloody.

I feel like the armor designers have no concept how to make "leather" armor anymore. A couple of sets have been fantastic the past few years, but for the most part I still use transmogs from Vanilla or BC because they fit the aesthetic better.

Leveling through this area, I was hoping that the sets would more resemble what most of the NPCs were wearing. Honestly, I've seen people with transmogs from previous xpacs who have come up with ensembles that more resemble what I would expect to see in a Venthyr set. Everything with these covenant sets is spikes, blocks and massive apartment-building shoulders. I really wish the armor designers would experiment outside of those themes.

So the LIVE Armor pieces are NOTHING compared to what is listed here. For instance, I have Ebony Death Shroud Gloves that are Rank 1 of 7. How the heck do you get higher ranks? Cannot find any explanation.

KInda sucks hard there are no Venthyr cloaks. I dont want a candelabra hanging from my back lol.
Also, do all other covenants have armor where almost every tint is basically the same like Venthyr?

So Venthyr have 12 different sets/recolors & the other Covenants only have 8 different sets/recolors, or am I missing something?

I never noticed the discrepancy between the cloth sets and the others until now. For Ember Court, all of the sets are primarily green - except for cloth, which is golden for some reason. For Travel Network, all of the sets are primarily gray/white - except for cloth, which is a purpley blue for some reason. Why is cloth randomly different?
