This guide provides tips and strategies for defeating the Kil'jaeden encounter on Normal Difficulty. Changes to the fight for Looking for Raid, Heroic and Mythic difficulties are listed below in their respective sections, including tips and strategies for dealing with the new mechanics introduced in these difficulties.
Kil'jaeden is a three phase encounter with an intermission phase separating each phase. The fight requires the raid to deal with relatively simple mechanics that can overlap in devastating ways.
Players must defeat
Fallen Avatar
before attempting Kil'jaeden.

Loot and Rewards

is the final boss of the Tomb of Sargeras raid, dropping loot 10 ilvls higher than the other bosses (895 LFR, 910 Normal, 925 Heroic, 940 Mythic). Earlier in the PTR cycle, this boss also dropped Tier 20 chest tokens, but that has since been changed.

Encounter Overview
The fight takes place on a platform on Kil'jaeden's spaceship. If players fall off the platform they will instantly die, however their corpse will teleport back to the platform allowing players to resurrect them.
Phase One players will fight Kil'jaeden directly whilst soaking meteors that rain down onto the encounter area.
Intermission One will begin once Kil'jaeden reaches 80% health. Kil'jaeden will become almost immune to damage and barrage players with a variety of spells for a minute.
Phase Two players will deal with a mixture of abilities from Phase One and intermission One, alongside a few other position based mechanics.
Intermission Two will begin once Kil'jaeden reaches 40% health. Kil'jaeden will leave the encounter area and coat it with a Fog of War. Players must find Illidan within the fog to gain his sight to remove the adds that are hiding within it.
Phase Three begins once all adds have died. Kil'jaeden will once again return to the platform and have a brand new ability set which tests players ability to use Rifts that spawn around the encounter area to avoid lethal mechanics.
The entire encounter takes place on a platform. Falling off the edge will instantly kill you.
Phase One: The Betrayer
邪爪
Kil'jaeden empowers himself for 11.5 seconds, causing each one of his melee attacks to increase all physical damage taken by the target by 20% for 20 seconds.
Tanks need to taunt off one after the buff has ended, to ensure that the stacking damage increase doesn't go above 5 stacks.
Additionally, whilst Kil'jaeden has
邪爪
active, he will cause all his melee attacks to deal damage to all players in a cone in front of himself.
Tanks need to ensure that Kil'jaeden is faced away from the raid whilst
邪爪
is active, as even a single swipe can be enough to kill a player.

A purple orb will appear above a location in the encounter area and will begin to slowly fall. After 10 seconds it will land, dealing lethal damage to anyone in the landing zone, whilst dealing moderate raid wide damage and knocking players away from it.
All players must stand close to the landing zone of the orb to ensure that they are not knocked off the platform.
If the orb spawns in the middle of the room, players need to ensure that they are knocked into the corners of the platform, as otherwise the knockback will push them off.
Whilst positioning for the orb in the middle of the room, the Tanks should place Kil'jaeden directly inside the Orb, to allow melee DPS to hit him whilst standing in a safe position.
Although players need to make sure they are close to the orb, they must not get too close, as they may get hit by the lethal damage aspect of the ability.
The orb can spawn in 5 set locations around the square encounter area. In each of the four corners and directly in the centre of the room.

has 5 potential spawn locations. In each corner of the encounter room and directly in the middle.
When

spawns in the center of the encounter area it is vital players are knocked towards the corners. Any players stood elsewhere will be knocked off the platform and fall to their death. Players in the highlighted red areas will fall to their death.

Kil'jaeden calls down several small

meteors and one large
末日之雹
meteor.
When any of these meteors hit the platform they will trigger an

, which deals high burst damage to the raid and places a hard hitting 30 second dot on all players.
Players must stand underneath the meteor landing locations as this will soak it, preventing an
末日冲击
.

s (small circles) must be soaked by the raid.
末日冲击
(larger single circle) must be either soaked by a tank or a player using an immunity.
末日之雨
s are indicated with smaller circles and need to be soaked by a single raid member.
This will deal a moderate burst of fire damage to them and apply a 60 second dot.

is cast more frequently than every 60 seconds, so players should avoid soaking multiple
末日决战
s in a row as otherwise the dot will stack and refresh its duration.
This should usually be done "on the fly" however the raid leader my want to assign two different groups to take turns soaking the
末日之雨
patches.
末日之雹
is indicated with a large circle and needs to be soaked by a tank.
This is because it deals an exceptional amount of physical damage upon landing and leaves a hard-hitting physical damage dot for 10 seconds.
The tank with the lowest
邪爪
stack should take this hit, whilst using a large damage reduction.
This ability can be soaked and survived by other non-tank players if they use large damage reductions or immunities.
Upon reaching 80% HP, Kil'jaeden will fly up into the air and Intermission One will begin.
Intermission One: Eternal Flame
At the beginning of the intermission Kil'jaeden will fly up into the air and start circling the platform. During this time he takes 99% less damage due to his Nether Gale passive.
Players must focus on dealing with the new incoming abilities, as damaging the boss during this time is pointless.
Kil'jaeden will still cast
末日决战
. This ability functions identically to the Phase One version, and must be dealt with in the exact same way.
Kil'jaeden has gained two new abilities during this phase,

.
When he casts
聚焦恐惧烈焰
he will mark a player and then send a beam of fire in their direction.
This beam deals high damage that is split between all players hit by the beam.
Players should stack up between Kil'jaeden and the Target to spread the damage as evenly as possible.
The marked target can solo the ability with immunities or large damage reductions. If they wish to do this they must communicate with the raid to ensure that they take the beam alone.
When a player is marked with

, shown as an arrow above their head, players must move between the player and Kil'jaeden in a line.
The more players between, the safer the damage will be shared among the raid.
When Kil'jaeden casts
爆裂恐惧烈焰
he will mark several players and place a 15 yard ring around them.
After a short delay these players will take a burst of fire damage which will splash onto anyone within 15 yards.
Players targeted by the
爆裂恐惧烈焰
must move away from the group, preferably around the edges of the room, to minimise the chance of splashing damage onto the raid.
爆裂恐惧烈焰
can occur during an

. The targeted players should avoid soaking an
末日决战
meteor and
爆裂恐惧烈焰
in quick succession, as the damage may be too overwhelming for healers.
Players highlighted in green have moved away from the raid with their
爆裂恐惧烈焰
. Players in red need to avoid the targeting circles to avoid taking any damage from the green players.
After 1 minute, Kil'jaeden will fly to the middle of the room and land. His Nether Gale passive will disappear and Phase Two will begin.
Phase Two: Reflected Souls
Phase Two consists of fighting Kil'jaeden till he reaches 40% health. During this phase he has a mixture of abilities from Phase One and Intermission One, alongside one brand new ability.
The difficulty of Phase Two is mainly centred around the points in which abilities overlap.
The abilities are still countered in the same manner as the previous phases, apart from the
聚焦恐惧烈焰
.
Players targeted by this should stand at a set location, to allow the raid to quickly group up and help split the damage.
The new mechanic in this phase is the
暗影映像:爆发
.
This is an 8 second debuff placed on three players. After the debuff expires a Shadow Reflection add will spawn.
This add does not need to be tanked, as it will just stand still and chain cast
爆发恐惧烈焰
, a long cast which deals raid wide damage.
Each cast of
爆发恐惧烈焰
will deal a larger amount of damage than the last.
Players afflicted with the
暗影映像:爆发
debuff should stack underneath the boss to spawn the adds on top of one another. The DPS then must focus them down as soon as possible, just to reduce the number of
爆发恐惧烈焰
casts.
Once Kil'jaeden reaches 40% health Intermission Two will begin.
Intermission Two
The platform becomes engulfed in darkness. Illidan and
暗影之魂
adds lurk within.
Players that find Illidan gain Sightless Gaze. Allowing them to see the
暗影之魂
adds within the darkness.
Once all
暗影之魂
adds have been killed, phase 3 will begin.
During Intermission Two, players will be engulfed in darkness. They will need to search out Illidan who is somewhere on the platform to gain his sight. This sight can be used to defeat the
暗影之魂
adds and banish the darkness, which will trigger Phase Three. It is assumed the during this time Kil'jaeden will not be present in the encounter area.
Immediately upon entering Intermission Two, players will receive the
欺诈者的遮蔽
debuff.
This prevents players from being able to target anything further than 8 yards away.
Additionally, AoE spells and heals will all miss on targets further than 8 yards away.
During this time players will be afflicted with

, which absorbs ever increasing amounts of healing the longer you remain within the shadows.
Several

enemies will be hidden by the shadows. During this time they will be unkillable and will deal pulsing raid wide damage with their
不稳定的暗影之魂
ability.
Players will not be able to attack the
暗影之魂
enemies until they find Illidan in the darkness.
Getting within 8 yards of Illidan will give the player the Illidan's Sightless Gaze debuff, which allows the player to see and hit enemies within 40 yards and heal other players. During this 20 second debuff, players will be ticking high ticking fire damage.
Players need to spread out across the platform to find Illidan.
Illidan is usually found around the edges of the encounter area, rather than in the middle.
Illidan can be tracked by hunters and feral druids by using the Track Humanoids ability. This will cause him to appear on the minimap.
Once a group has found Illidan, the entire raid should move next to him to gain the Illidan's Sightless Gaze debuff.
To help communicate where Illidan is, players can ping his location on the minimap
Healers should assign healing cooldowns as the raid groups up to quickly heal players back up.
The raid must then use Sightless Gaze debuff to kill off all
暗影之魂
enemies and allow the group to enter Phase Three.
The
暗影之魂
adds can be stunned and also gripped. Gripping the adds that are far away from the group can help the raid enter Phase Three faster.
Phase Three:
千魂之暗
Players close enough to the rifts will gain
引力榨取
. This effect is mandatory to survive the
千魂之暗
cast.
恶魔方尖碑
s will deal large damage to any players hit and also knock them back, potentially entirely off the platform. Players circled in red are likely to be dead.
Players will need to use Rifts that spawn to avoid the
千魂之暗
"ultimate attack".
Kil'jaeden maintains the
爆裂恐惧烈焰
,
聚焦恐惧烈焰
&
邪爪
abilities from previous phases, but has lost access to all other previous abilities.
千魂之暗
This is a cast which will send bolts at all members of the raid. The bolt deals a large amount of initial damage, followed up by a hard hitting dot which lasts until Kil'jaeden is defeated.
This ability will be cast as soon as Kil'jaeden enters Phase Three. The raid should stack up behind him and use damage reduction cooldowns to survive the hit.
Healers will need to keep the raid topped up throughout Phase Three as the dot debuff can not be removed in any way.
Subsequent casts of
千魂之暗
need to be avoided by standing next to a rift.
撕裂裂隙
Kil'jaeden spawns a rift at the side of the platform. This rift will be inactive for a long period of time, only activating shortly before a
千魂之暗
is due to come in. All players will be pulled in towards the rift and any players close to the rift will be afflicted with
引力榨取
until they move further away from the rift.
引力榨取
deals ever increasing shadow damage to the player every second.
Whilst under the effects of
引力榨取
players will not be able to be hit by the bolts from the
千魂之暗
.
All players must move next to the rift just as Kil'jaeden finishes casting
千魂之暗
.
Whilst
千魂之暗
is not being cast, players will want to move away from the rift to avoid unnecessary damage from the
引力榨取
.
恶魔方尖碑
Kil'jaeden creates three
恶魔方尖碑
s positioned around the platform which will detonate in a cross of energy which spans the entire platform after 10 seconds.
Players hit by the energy will take a burst of damage and be knocked back.
Everyone needs to keep an eye on the Obelisks and the ground to ensure that they are not hit by the energy, as the knockback may be enough to hit you off the platform.
The beams of energy from the Obelisks are suprisingly large, so players should exaggerate their movement to ensure they will not be hit by any of the pillars.
Kil'jaeden will slowly increase the amount of Obelisks that spawn each time the ability is cast throughout the phase.
Players will need to continue to move into safe spots in the encounter room, by making a note of where the beams will be when the Obelisks detonate
Kil'jaeden has a 10 minute enrage timer. Players must kill him before he gains the enrage, as he will quickly kill off all players whilst under its effects.

Move around in groups consisting of at least one healer to find Illidan in the dark.
Players must stay within 8 yards of their healer, as all players are unable to target and heal players more than 8 yards away.
Once Illidan has been found, have all players use the Illidan's Sightless Gaze buff to quickly kill off all
暗影之魂
enemies.
Once all
暗影之魂
s have been killed, Phase Three will begin.
Phase Three:
The player fixated by the
聚焦恐惧烈焰
needs to have players help split the damage of the incoming beam. This player may need to move away from the boss to create some space for players to stand in.
Spread out 15 yards with the
爆裂恐惧烈焰
to avoid splashing damage onto other players.
Stand next to
撕裂裂隙
portals to gain their

debuff when
千魂之暗
is cast.
Do not be near
撕裂裂隙
portals at any other time, as
引力榨取
deals substantial damage that increases over time.
Avoid the cross of fel energy on the platform that spawns from the
恶魔方尖碑
s around the sides of the encounter area.
Looking for Raid Difficulty
Aside from Looking for Raid abilities dealing less damage in comparison to Normal abilities, there are no listed mechanical changes between the fight in Looking For Raid and Normal Difficulty.
Do Note: Kil'jaeden was not tested publicly on Looking For Raid difficulty on PTR, so there are likely changes between the two difficulties - but they have not been documented in the Dungeon Journal
Heroic Difficulty
Aside from Heroic abilities dealing more damage than Normal abilities, there are many mechanical changes applied to the fight to make it more challenging.
Phase One:

will now also occur in Phase One, rather than just Phase Two.
Additionally, the Shadow Reflection adds will now buff other Shadow Reflection adds within 20 yards with

after each

increases their damage done by 60%. You want to ensure that the adds are spawned 20 yards apart so they do not buff each other.
Raids with high dps may wish to stack the adds and cleave them down quickly. They must kill them before the third cast, as the adds are likely to one shot the raid at this point.
Players afflicted with Shadow Reflection must be 20 yards apart to prevent the
爆发恐惧烈焰
cast from buffing nearby Shadow Reflection adds.
Intermission One
During Intermission One, players will need to deal with the

in addition to all other Intermission One mechanics.
All Rupturing Singularities during this time spawn in the corners of the Platform, making them much easier to counter as there is more room to be knocked back into.
Players need to keep an eye on their timers to make sure that they are not caught out by any combination of abilities during this Intermission

s on heroic will also cause all players hit by the beam to deal splash damage to all players within 5 yards via

Players within the beam need to ensure they are spread apart from one another to keep raid damage to a minimum
In larger raid sizes you may want to assign specific players to soak the

, just to make sure that nobody will die through the
聚焦恐惧爆裂
splash damage.
Phase Two:
In addition to the
暗影映像:爆发
adds that spawn in this phase, tanks will also be debuffed on a different timer with
暗影映像:哀嚎
.
This is a 7 second debuff which will cause a
暗影映像:哀嚎
add to spawn.
This add needs to be tanked and will occasionally cast
悲伤之嚎
, which deals damage to all players within 10 yards.
Each cast of this ability buffs the
暗影映像:哀嚎
add with
波涛起伏
, which increases the damage done by
悲伤之嚎
by 100% and increases its radius by 5 yards per stack.
The raid needs to kill off this add before its
波涛起伏
stacks get too high.
To help achieve this, tanks should keep the add underneath the boss to allow players to cleave onto it, only moving the add away for when
悲伤之嚎
is due to be cast.
Intermission Two
has no changes from Normal mode.
Phase Three:
In addition to all other mechanics in Phase Three, Kil'jaeden will spawn a
烈焰宝珠
on heroic.
This
烈焰宝珠
will spawn at a targeted location and will then follow the player closest to it when it spawns.
The orb will chase the player indefinitely. Once it reaches a player it will trigger a
烈焰爆破
.
This deals high damage to all players within 10 yards and creates a pool of fire which applies
燃烧
to any players who enter.
The size of the pool of fire created is based on the length of time it took the
烈焰宝珠
to trigger a
烈焰爆破
.
Players targeted by
烈焰宝珠
must kite the orb for as long as possible to reduce the final fire patch size. Note that rifts will remove fire patches periodically throughout the phase.
When the
烈焰宝珠
spawns, you want a mobile ranged DPS to kite it towards the rift.
All other players should move away from the spawn location of the orb and out of the path the kiting player is going to take
That player then wants to trigger the
烈焰宝珠
right next to a
撕裂裂隙
portal, as
撕裂裂隙
portals will remove the fire from the encounter area.
Other players should move away from the
烈焰宝珠
spawn location to allow the kiting player to pick it up.
Mythic Difficulty
Aside from Mythic abilities dealing more damage than Heroic abilities, there are many mechanical changes applied to the fight to make it more challenging.
Phase One:
In addition to the
暗影映像:爆发
adds that spawn in this phase, tanks will also get
暗影映像:哀嚎
debuff in Phase One as well as Phase Two.
When the

in the Dungeon Journal on Mythic.
Phase Two:
An additional Hopeless Reflection add will spawn from a debuff called

This will be a debuff placed on healers which causes them to spawn this add after 8 seconds.
This add will not need to be tanked, and instead will be friendly.
They have a long cast called
绝望
, which will deal lethal damage to the raid and create a pool of Soul Anguish on the ground, which silences, pacifies and deals ticking damage to anyone who stands within it.
This ability will also trigger once the Hopeless Reflection has been healed to full.
Healing up the Hopeless Reflection adds will reduce the damage and the size of the Anguish pool spawned through
绝望
.
When a Hopeless Reflection reaches full health, it will grant
萦绕的希望
to healers, restore 2% max mana every second for 5 seconds.
Healers need to heal up the Hopeless Reflections as soon as possible, not just to reduce the effects of
绝望
, but also to gain the
萦绕的希望
buff.
Intermission Two
During Intermission Two you will have to deal with Rupturing Singularities in addition to all the other mechanics.
Whether or not these Rupturing Singularities will be visible through the
欺诈者的遮蔽
or not is unknown, but this ability in this phase sounds like hell.
Phase Three
Suspiciously, there is no listed changes to the mechanics found in Phase Three on mythic difficulty.

Every time except the very first you refer to the big meteor as Armageddon Blast when it should be Armageddon Hail. Blast is the damage/dot the raid gets for failing to soak all the meteors.

It should be noted that the Felclaws ability of Kil'Jaeden works as such:
1. On Normal - One strike of Felclaws is a single application of Felclaws (Spell #245509: Physical damage taken is increased by 20% for 25s)
2. On Heroic - One strike of Felclaws is an application of Felclaws (Spell #245509) AND an application of Felclaws (Spell #239931: Physical damage taken is increased by 60% for 25s).
So, on Heroic, you get an 80% increase in physical damage taken for every swipe.
It also means that abilities that save you from the next lethal damage strike (eg. Ardent Defender), may NOT save you if you take the lethal damage on the first part of the strike set. (As you wont have enough health to survive the second damage component of the strike).
I don't know why blizzard has decided to implement it like this. I can't think of any other bosses that have been done like this (an extra component added to an attack, as opposed to a different attack (spell id) used for Heroic).

I just soloed him today. I was on my 199 ilvl Demon Hunter in tank spec.
I didn't even have to try for self healing, DHs do some much.
The only time I worried, was when he flew away after the first phase and I wasn't able to attack him to generate souls for healing. And I had about 15 stacks of armageddon.
I believe only a DH can solo him as the purple orbs that knock you off can be countered by gliding. In the dark phase they still go off and I jumped as soon as I was launched to cancel the knockback.
Took me 12+ min.

At 70% he starts dropping the orbs that knock you off the platform. Run up to them and position yourself so you get knocked towards the next orb. Repeat until the phase is finished.
Then kick his ass some more until 40% when he cast the darkness. Now, in the darkness he will also spawn the knockout-orbs. This time though, they spawn in a fixed pattern. I don't know if the pattern is the same for everyone but for me it started in the southeast corner and went on clockwise every single attempt.
So just run up to the orb, position yourself so you get thrown clockwise along the platform and by doing so you will get thrown passed illidans buff automaticly and you can start taking out shadows as soon as you get it. Don't stress it, focus on making it to the orbs and take out nearby shadows until you're done with the phase and then the rest should be a cakewalk.

Anyone who can solo this is extremely lucky. I cannot seem to move fast enough to keep the Rupturing Singularities from knocking me off the platform, especially when I go blind and cannot kill any of the shadow creatures. Even at iLevel 253, I do such little damage to Kil'jaeden that I guess I will have to wait for two more expansions to survive a fight.
I never have been good enough to do any mechanics at-level, and evidently I cannot do anything well enough several expansions afterwards.

This fight needs to be seriously reduced. How is anyone supposed to solo this fight without abilities on short cooldowns that can survive you getting blasted off the platform every 9 seconds? How did this fight even survive being current content as is? That's what truly boggles my mind, if this fight isn't easily soloable by the common person 5 years after its inception... how were people doing this when it was current and the fight would last 5 times as long? All of the knock back abilities need to be removed or have their knock backs shortened. I just want to finish this fight for once, but alas this fight will continue to elude completion to do the crappy mechanics that somehow survived when it was current content. That, or they were reduced when it was current and then hightened back up when it was supposed to become legacy because "lol, we hate people visiting old content."

Is there anyone that can provide advice for the second intermission? I've wiped 9 times trying to solo this on Heroic because I simply cannot find Illidan. Some of the guides/posts/tips about that section of the fight makes it sound like there are simple ways to find him, are there preset locations he can be at or will he always be along a certain range or arc from the center of the platform? Soloing as a paladin btw, no tracking but undead unfortunately.
Edit: Illidan also is not doing his callout at the beginning of the intermission to find him, which seems like a bad sign.

I swear it's time to stage an intervention for Kil'jaeden's addiction to Rupturing Singularity. He seriously had three going *simultaneously* with a fourth cast as soon as the first landed. It would be literally impossible without Travel Form or something of equivalent speed to make it to each corner in time. And since most classes' speed boosts come on a cooldown, I don't know how to solo this on anything but a Druid. Unless there's a trigger for Rupturing Singularity that we can avoid pulling, such as certain damage thresholds.
I'm also wondering if the knockback is higher than intended, currently. There is mention of getting the orb in the center and how you need to aim your knockback towards a corner so you don't die. In my experience today, the knockback is so strong that you need to be on top of the orb *and* be aimed towards the opposite corner just to stay on the platform. I think if the orb was in the center, *everyone* would be knocked off the platform, regardless of positioning. Thankfully, you spend virtually no time in phase 1 or phase 2 and the orbs can only spawn in corners during the intermissions.
Now, there are comments about Rupturing Singularity during the darkness phase, which sounds utterly impossible to deal with; but my darkness phase was only seconds long because I had already pushed Kil'jaeden to the next phase the moment it started. {I had enough time to run around and find *a* shadow mob, which I killed, which may or may not have been required to end the phase. Someone else did mention needing to kill at least one, but I haven't tested this precisely yet. I may update this comment later.}

Soloed on mythic as a 380ilvl Vengeance DH:
Keep an eye on the knockbacks, glide easily cancels the effect.
Keep close to the middle, run towards the orbs at they drop, cancel the knockback, rinse, repeat.
In the darkness phase, cast spectral sight. I DPSd a couple mobs, then the boss, and the phase transitioned.
Burn CDs on the phase after darkness, finish the boss.

Solo'd as frost mage, item level 415.
Sadly it took me at least half an hour of experimenting before I finally was able to down Kil'jaeden. The trick that finally worked for me was to save my DPS cooldowns for when he hit 30% health (or was it 40%?) after having gone through a couple of phases with rupturing singularities. I'm still a bit confused about what happened right before I burst him down, but I saw Illidan and was able to see Kil'jaeden and the blue ghost guys on the platform. I quickly downed all of the blue ghost guys (sorry, I forget what they're called), and then I burst Kil'jaeden down after that. He died and I got loot.
Regarding the rupturing singularities, as a mage, make sure you have one point into
闪光术
and two points into
时光飞逝
. The trick is to always be aware if there is a second singularity spawned, and if so then put yourself in line with it so that when the first singularity ruptures (presumably with you close to it) you will get blown towards the second singularity.
If you're having to high-tail it to a singularity and there is a great distance between you and it then use Shimmer (ie - Blink). If both of your shimmers are on CD then you can resort to using Ice Block. I even had one time where I was able to eat two different ruptures using Ice Block, so it can save your bacon in a pinch!

I have found that burst damaging Kil'jaeden dead before he finishes his cast of Deceiver's Veil has always worked to avoid the bug of getting stuck in the darkness.
I have also solo'd this with a Retadin item level 413, who is unable to burst him dead during the Deceiver's Veil cast. I tried this maybe 5 or 6 times with the same result each time, me getting stuck in the darkness. However, the last time I finally defeated him even after being in the darkness. I'm not exactly sure what the trick was that caused me to not get bugged.

ability
but still solved it in a couple tries. Priest btw thanks to Angelic Feather and Body and Soul. Just check behind, position, burst of movement after. Fun puzzle :D
