Ahm is obtained after the 临终遗愿 in Auchenon Siegeyard in Talador for both factions.

After the quest Ahm will be acquired from your garrison, just like Malvenue has stated in the other comment.

As of today's patch Ahm shows up outside the main entrance to the Alliance garrison and near the Horde graveyard as a ghost. Seems he was supposed to die after all!

Ghost Ahm gives the quest 亡者的忠诚, from which he can be recruited as a follower.

If you have the Enchanter's Study on your Garrison, you can assign him to it, which will allow you to enchant your weapon with an "illusion" of another weapon enchant, like 幻象：猫鼬.

This guy really is a ghost, as he has disappeared from my enchanters study suddenly.

He is nowhere to be found.

Edit: I fixed it by removing him and adding him back to my building.

Does the the follower benefit referenced in the Enchanter's Study window mean there's a chance for a single work order to yield additional crystals?

It's not clear to me why I should be assigning Ahm to this building (other than Illusions).

Ahm disappeared for me (maybe this happens with other followers too?) - not sure if there was a reason for it, but it was annoying. If this happens, just go to your architect board, select your Enchanting building, dismiss him, and add him back. He'll reappear.

Soooo, he did not come with the enchanting trait, seems as its not 100% He got Gronnslayer, and Brew Aficionado as his starting traits. And there are no other enchanting traited followers, unless randomly chosen, looks like I wont be getting a follower for my Enchanter's study anytime soon!

Does this follower require my toon to have the enchanting profession in order for him to have that trait? I have this follower and he does not have enchanting. He is currently level 100 and purple.

On my priest char, this follower is epic. I have enchanting skill, maybe that's why, but I am not 100% sure. On other char i have blacksmithing, but Rulkan (as bs follower) is only "rare".

I found this guy lounging at a table in my garrison. When I came close, he jumped to his feet and said "I will not rest until the Iron Horde is destroyed."
Then he sat back down again. ;)

I'm having the issue of getting him into my enchanting hut. I have him in my garrison but, I can put him to work there. Is there something that I'm doing wrong? Can someone please help thanks!

Too many comments here are Ally related. For Horde, after doing the first quest, Ahm is NOT outside your front entrance. Instead he's out the back gate, between the mine and herb garden, there's a path. Travel on it a bit and you'll see him.

I have decided to do inside test of all my Garrison Followers how much DPS they can pull against Training Dummies.

I did this to find out which Follower is the best to take on a patrol during Garrison Invasion content.
Each test took 1 minute.
I'm not testing bodyguards here.

After few hours of "training" it turnd out that the winner is… Leeroy!
He does some sick dps (also aoe) and even sicker healing. That makes him King of Garrison Invasion companion.
Tho Aeda Brightdawn does more dps, she doesnt heal and she tends to die during invasion.

Honorable mentions are:
1. Aeda Brightdawn - for best dps.
2. Harrison Jones - for most bizzare style.
3. Choluna - good single target dps.
4. Garona Halforcen - good single target dps.
5. Vivianne - good aoe.

Below You can see test results for all my active Followers.
As you can see Followers' iLvl scales with their DPS (Leeroy is an example here).
I will be adding new followers as soon, as I'll test them.

He can be found in one of two places - either outside the front gate, or back near the graveyard.

So today I was trying to get Ahm, just to notice that I can only find his corpse in talador, and no quest. I thought it might be because I've already completed the quest, so I looked for him in the garrison (Horde). (Since after you've done the q, you have to look for him there)
So if you've done the quest and can't find him in the Horde Garrison, here are the coords:
68.65, 90.51 (or just 68,90)

TLDR: Horde Garrison coords: 68,90

This is the macro I always use whenever I start questing in Talador(Horde), it pinpoints the locations to obtain the garrison followers in the zone on the map so I can grab them on the way. :)

*Magister Krelas is only available with the Arcane Sanctum outpost in Talador.

As Ahm is considered a Draenei, Horde commanders might want to consider benching him in favour of Lantresor, who is an Orc. Both are Arms Warriors and start with the same default abilities.

From Archenon Seigeyard (usually right after completing the quest, 恐惧活塞), speak to 阿姆 at coords, 56.9, 26.0, and accept 临终遗愿.

1. 临终遗愿 - Travel up the stairs and enter the building ahead, and kill 剑圣巴罗克.
• Loot 阿姆的传家宝 off the corpse of 剑圣巴罗克.
• Turn the quest in to 阿姆 at 56.9, 26.0.
• Use your 要塞炉石 to travel back to your Town Hall. Exit your Town Hall and leave your Garrison through the southern exit, traveling to coords 53.4, 68.9.
• Accept, and complete, the quest 亡者的忠诚, from 阿姆. This will give you the follower, 阿姆.

For Alliance with lvl 3 Garrison he is right outside front gate at 55.75, 72.00 after doing the short quest Dying Wish at 56.8, 26

It seems he has random spawn locations around your base - one of my Horde characters found him outside the front gate, but on my current toon he is out just past the herb garden near the grave respawn.

However I don't think he appears at your garrison immediately after completing his quest in Talador. I did a 'slow circuit around the complex' but it was when i checked back about an hour later that I found him.

NOTE: After you complete both quests, Ahm will shows up in your Garrison, in a Level 2 Garrison it shows up outside of the front gate to the left but in a Level 3 Garrison it will be found in the grave yard out past the herb farm.

Hey guys. So i decided to do this guest.
i found Ahm, took the quest and killed Blademaster Bralok as i should. problem is the item doesnt drop... at all.... Killed him multiple times, relogged, re took the quest. IT WONT DROP. what is wrong?

I re rolled the trait on Ahm on accident. I now i cant equip him to the enchanters study. I need help!

Updates subsequent to Warlords have made it so you shouldn't lose preselected profession-based traits upon retraining. Ahm should retain Enchanting if you use a trait retraining manual; only his additional 2 traits will be randomized.

Not sure how it works if you previously lost the trait - I've done tons of trait re-rolling on other characters and never gotten a profession to come up, but maybe it's possible for the ones who had it built in.
