Strange bug. When he's in combat, you can click on him to access the mailbox regardless of rep level.

The earliest submitted screenshot on this page is actually of Talon Guard Kurekk. The one submitted a day later is correctly of Talonpriest Ishaal. When mounted, he rides on the Dread Raven model, found flying throughout the Spires of Arak.

The Talonpriest's second ability gained when you get his rep up to "Trusted Bodyguard" is very useful, not only stunning the target for 9 seconds but also granting a 20% damage taken debuff to the stunned target. The aoe damage upon the expiration of the debuff/death of target appears to be relatively little.

Fun fact: Shamans can water walk their followers if you don't like to see them dragging in the water lol it has to be cast before the follower enters the water though. Doesn't work on Nat Pagle... he still drowns.

Ishaal seems to be unique in the aspect that he can Stealth. At least, he does so when I enter .

I was sort of starting to become a little fond of the Arakkoa until I started playing with and leveling Talonpriest Ishaal. This guy is such a nuisance. He dies more easily than other bodyguards, at least in my experience, and it's annoying to have to wait an hour to revive him. The worst though is that he is always in the way!

He's big and bulky, and I couldn't tell you of all the times I've had to adjust my camera angle in all sorts of ways because his big feathery butt is blocking whatever I need to see and click on. It's especially irritating when hunting for Draenor treasures, many of which are small and hard to see/click.

I am so glad to finally have him at level three so I can ditch him and start leveling a different bodyguard.

If you haven't done the Cutter-questline (only available with a lumber yard outpost) in southern Gorgrond, it's a great way to level your bodyguard's reputation. Getting one from 0 to Personal Wingman in 10-15 minutes should be easily doable if you have decent sustained AoE.

Start with 刀叶林地 / 深源之根 at your outpost after building the Lumber Yard, quest your way to the southernmost mine @48 94 (Bastion Rise), complete the 3 initial quests there, accept 艾韵 / 艾韵, go upstairs and you'll find clusters of 艾韵脓疱s that respawn instantly. Don't complete this quest until you're done leveling your bodyguards.
You'll level your bodyguard's reputation as fast as you can kill clumps of ~10 mobs.
