Having posthaste and binding shot on the same talent level is really frustrating, and removing even more time off of posthaste? Hunters are generally quite squishy, and their mobility is necessary for survival (dictionary meaning, not the spec heh). The last couple of expansions Blizz has gone a little overboard with slowing hunters down.

It's a slight improvement over Legion where we actually use our weapon now, but even the brain-dead can excel at this spec. Give us something to pay attention to, like Focus Fire.

I agree that feign death is the best ability ever. Whenever I have to travel through a bunch of mobs to get somewhere, I just ride my mount through them (assuming that they don't have any abilities that can dismount me) then feigh death once I get to where I am going, and they will all run back to where they originally were and leave me alone.

Your talent picks is giving people bad advise i have tried it and it cut my DPS in half and depleted my focus with in a few seconds and made me useless for at lest 45 seconds

after the addition of auto turning growl off in dungeons were added. my pets and other peoples pets will growl way more in dungeons than they should be able to even with auto growl on. i reported this bug already in the fall still not fixed. the same goes for the hunter talent stomp which on board questing boats/ships in bfa pulls mobs through the deck ie aggroes downstairs mobs in the loads.

To Bendak...Your instructions are quite good for an already accomplished hunter but it is not simple enough for a beginning hunter to completely understand. I know someone who cannot grasp misdirect. I directed them to your guide but again misdirect was not broken down and explained. I think Wowhead and Icy-Veins and whatever other sites should direct a good part of explanation toward the beginning wow player in realistic point and shoot terms. After all the starting players are the ones that NEED the help and instruction more than the seasoned players.

Been thinking about this in my search to tame all the Spirit Beasts, but what if they added a BM spell (talent) called, "Hunter's Blind" that allowed specced hunters to build a structure in the world and it would increase the chance of a rare to spawn. It would certainly make sense from a RP perspective as so many hunters waiting for Loque or Arcturis to spawn basically just sit there. It could also be a nice utility spell for killing the rares achievement.

I don't know who to get this to, but thought I'd throw it out there.

So, something that no one has mentioned yet. The changes to call pet and the level that you learn the first one means that non-allied race hunters no longer start with a racial hunter pet. This may seem obvious for some, but it is better that it is something that is said then left in the air.

I've been waiting for the xpac that lets hunters tame a mount and ride it. I played a game called Ultima Online, 20 years ago I think, that I could tame a Nightmare and ride it away. I could jump off it and have it attack. It just seems so weird that we can tame almost anything but we cant ride it.(with the exception of Hati of course, and only if you have the food)
I wonder if its even been a consideration in the past 16 years...

There is one thing i have been wondering though, my droptimizer sims seem to change dramatically each time i swap an item, is it normal? Thanks

So frustrated! So many sites are closed or down for protest (I get it, not against it!) and I need help! Have read all the posts, forums and sites, use all the macros, best talents and have 2 leggos I switch between and still have people with lower Ilevels and less hunter time out DPSing me. Not always by a lot, but some are just smoking me. The only hunters I know well enough to ask are both MM and have never been BM, so no help. Just want to ask some questions where I will get instant or quick answers. Can anyone suggest (open) forums or if anyone's willing to talk to me Id be happy to share my Disc info. Just frustrated beyond all belief.

Night Fae is by far the most dominant Covenant, still, for BM Hunters. Even for Marks Hunters.

I'm gonna leave a useful macro for pets, I've been using this for awhile and I'm not seeing it here. It will call the pet 1st pet (you can modify depending on what you want to call by default) if you have none, mend it whenever it is on, or revive it when it's dead

BM really needs either a burst damage increase or a higher sustained damage output. Its just under performing across high level M+ and raid environments.

So for S3 of Dragonflight, why are we not taking Wailing Arrow for the M+ build? It's a good utility spell that actually makes us kind of useful besides binding shot.

I really would like an explicit simple guide for which pets to use. I know wow-petopia has a lot of information, but something more direct would be great. For example:
For raiding:
First pet -> Spirit Beast
Second pet -> Spirit Beast

For M+:
First pet -> Cleffhoof
Second pet -> Spirit Beast
