To complete this achievement you no longer have to loot E'ko but gain the buff from it. From my experience if you have Cache of Mau'ari in your bags you won't get the buff. Try deleting if you're having trouble.

This achieve has nothing to do with E'Ko, kill the mobs in the list of E'ko you need to get the Juju Buffs listed above and that will give you the achieve. Its not 100% so you may have to kill a few to get it.

So... after reading the prior posts i went to go do this achievement as said above... It didn't work.. the Witch doctor did not give the quest like they said.. Instead it gave a different quest called "Doin' De' Eko Magic".. I completed this quest and then turned it in to find that the Witch doctor still did not give the quests named above.. So i went back and killed 1 Shardtooth Bear and received the "Shardtooth E'ko" towards the achievement.. I am now running around to get the last of the items... don't know if it's a horde/ally thing but I am a Blood Elf pally at lvl 80..

It is possible to have more than one E'ko/Juju buff at a time. There is no need to click off one buff in order to get another.

I had completed the previous quests to get the Cache of Mau'ari, so I wouldn't know if its necessary to complete that quest chain since to get this achievement - you receive a buff (JuJu), not the looted item (also: it didn't matter that it was in my bags while doing this, as previously stated).
Worked on Winterspring Furbolg first, killed about 9 Winterfall Ursa's/Shamans at Winterfall Village (E of Everlook) before I got the "E'ko buff". The quest that a few are referring to popped at the same time as the buff,
http://www.wowhead.com/quest=28656
.
Having the quest, or turning it in, didn't decrease the amount of kills until gaining buff. But once I turned in Strange Life Forces I did notice that she offered "Doin' De' Eko Magic"... and if you go through the chat options with her, it does seem you need Cache of Mau'ari to get E'ko and JuJu. Makes sense ;P
Making the trek from Owl Wing Thicket (SE of Mazthoril)-> Winterfall Village -> Frostsaber Rock, you can get credit for everything: starting with Frostmaul Giants (the Tumblers) & Owls (credits as Wildkin) @ Owl Wing Thicket, going to Furbolgs and Yetis around Winterfall and in between there and Frostsaber Rock you can get credit for everything else.
Easy Achieve.

Indeed to complete this achievement you do
NOT
need to have the Cache of Mau'ari on you, but rather run around, killing every type of monster listed in the achievement, until you get each type of "Juju buff". For the record, you don't need to click off each to get new ones. I had all of mine active simultaneously. I started south at the Frostwhisper Gorge, killed giants there until I got the Juju buff, then worked my way north to finish with the frostsabers.
Some took about 30 kills to get the buff (the icethistle yetis in my case), while others took only one. It seems random.
Happy hunting!

The Buffs you receive

If doing this Achievement, beware of your pets. If they get the killing blow, they might get the buff and it won't count. So better dismiss them or put them on passiv.

If you go to Winterspring to complete this achievement and also do the
Winterspring Quests
achievement you will soon meet
Witch Doctor Mau'ari
. She used to be located in Everlook but has moved to
Donova Snowden
. Some of you may notice that Mau'ari has a gossip option where she offers you
Cache of Mau'ari
. If you receive this item you will still be able to loot
Shardtooth E'ko
from bears and
Wildkin E'ko
from owlkin in Winterspring. However, both the Cache of Mau'ri and the E'ko seems to be things that should have been removed from the game but still is left there by mistake.
You do not need the Cache of Mau'ri to complete this achievement. The only reason that you are offered it is because you completed the old E'ko quest line that allowed you to loot E'ko and trade it for Juju that could be used for buffs. At level 60 where you could stack many buffs ambitious raiders would routinely grind E'ko to improve performance. Now Juju is much easier to gain but only works in Wintergrasp.

I believe you need to get the killing blow to gain the buff. I killed a Shardtooth, saw the 'frost-explosion' animation, but didn't get any buff. Was about to QQ but then noticed that my pet had the buff instead!

Does anyone know if there's a lower success rate at getting the Frostmaul Giant E'ko than the others? I have cleared every Frostmaul Tumbler I could find three times now with no success. Just curious if anyone else has had this problem.

Just wanted to say that you don't need to complete any quest at all, you can actually just fly to Winterspring and start killing off the listed mobs for your achievement :)
Also, keep in mind the range in which you kill them. I'd say 10 yards is a good range.

If you're a shaman, don't have totems out if you're going for this quest. I've seen my totems steal the buff.
评论来自
zarathorn
For everyone wondering about the range on buff application, you can actually look at any of the buffs at the top of the page to see "100 yard range". So unless you're a fan of rooting mobs with dots on them, it's highly unlikely range will come into play. Anyone having issues with not getting the buff is likely letting reactive damage or pets get the kill (Lightning Shield, for example, can cause issues with credit for certain things if it kills something).

This is doable on a level 19, if your that way inclined. Need to duel box in a main, out of party. The 19 tags the mob, main fists the thing down to ~200 hp and 19 takes over - have to be very careful not to smash the poor dear in one go. I used a 70 warrior, disarmed. My 19 is a mage. Hit rate on these 50+ mobs with any spells is around 11% acording to recount. Took about 2 hours. Not sure about this inparty/solo requirement. My main got a Juju in-party while the 19 was dead. I played safe and did it out of party.

Not sure if it was just mere coincidence or what, but I killed frostmaul giants for about 10 minutes and could not receive the buff. I decided to click off my self buffs and I was able to receive it on the next kill.
Turns out the buff from those giants is 400+ HP so I believe my fort buff was keeping me from getting it.

I've been on my lvl 61 hunter for a while now, killing Chimaera's and have yet to get that buff. I've killed approximately 35. Do I just keep killing or what?
Edit: Change that to 25 and I have the buff now. It took 26 or 27 shots and I had all of my personal buffs off. Killed maybe 5-6 Yetis and got the achievement.

Why doesn't this achievement list the actual criteria?
Sure you get say juju frenzy, but the achievement lists the names of creatures, like winterspring furbolg - I think it would be better if the achievement listed her looked like the one in the game.

For anyone having an issue getting the Wildkin E'ko portion of this achievement, remove any Heirloom gear that gives the XP increase before trying. The XP buff this E'ko gives apparently doesn't seem to stack with the XP boost on the gear.
I killed so many poor Wildkin mobs for well over an hour and a half, then after seeing the above comment about clicking off certain buffs and then getting the E'ko applied, I took off my Rogue's Shadowcraft shoulders and got the Achievement completion on the 2nd kill.

I feel like I'm the only person who didn't know what this quest was asking for. I assumed it had something to do with killing the creatures listed in the achievement, and so that is what I did while doing Winterspring quests for Loremaster-- I just went around killing everything, and looting them (searching for this "E'ko" that I was expecting to get). It wasn't until actually looking it up that I discovered the truth.
The object of this achievement:
You have to kill the creatures listed in the achievement. This includes Winterspring Furbolg, Shardtooth Bears, Frostsabers, Ice Thistle Yeti, Wildkin, Frostmaul Giants, and Chillwind Chimaera. When killing these creatures, you have a chance to gain a Juju buff. Each type of creature offers a different buff. The object of the achievement is to gain each buff at least once. It doesn't have to be at the same time, as long as you get it once it counts to the achievement.
The post below by Geekbee shows each buff and what creatures give it, as well as offers a map for each creature. It's very helpful. You can sort these comments by Highest Rating to have that post placed straight on top so you don't have to scroll down to find it. =)
edit: saw a word misspelled =P

The criteria listed on wowhead for this achievement is incorrect.
To get credit for these,
it's not about which Juju you receive. It's about the type of creature you got it from.
For example, I got Juju Freeze from a Chimaera, which gave me credit for the Chillwind Chimaera requirement in the achievement tracker. Next, I killed Yetis, but I received Juju Freeze from one of them as well (not Juju Chill as listed above). This gave me credit for the Ice Thistle Yeti requirement. I got many other Jujus that were contrary to those listed in geekbee's post, so I do not believe the list is accurate.
Something else to mention-- there are quests for killing each of the mobs for this achievement. I found that by killing the number needed for these quests, it was enough to get a Juju from at least one of them. There are a cluster of questgivers at Goodgrub Smoking Pit (56, 28) that have quests
for Chimaeras
(when you grab the eggs they come flying over and attack you),
for Bears and Maulers
, and a 3-part chain involving
Frostsabers
.
Jadrag the Slicer
, an embarrassed orc lying sprawled in a pile of feathers outside Owl Wing Thicket (62, 75) has quests where you kill
Giants (Tumblers)
and
Wildkin (Owl Beasts)
. I was delighted to find these quests, as I am currently hated with all the goblin factions and can't step foot in Everlook. There are also quests for the Yeti and Furbolg, but I'd already done them and don't remember where they are. If you're going to work on this you may as well get some gold and work towards
Loremaster
while you're at it. As a skinner/miner I was also able to gather from 5 out of the 7 mobs needed for this as an added bonus.
Tip: If you're using ranged attacks, you don't need to keep glancing up at your buffs to see if you got one. You can actually
see
the Juju fly out of the dead creature and into you.
Also, I agree with the statement that Jujus don't stack anymore. I farmed Furbolgs for hours while grinding Timbermaw rep and never once got a second stack or saw the duration on my current stack reset before falling off.
Please edit the wowhead entry for this item so its criteria match those of the in-game achievement tracker. It will help to clear up some confusion about this.

For DKs having trouble with the Frostmaul Tumbler E'ko buff:
I was grinding for over a half hour in Blood Spec. Switched to Unholy and got it on the 3rd one. Not sure if its the Presence or the Spec that interfered - I did switch to Unholy presence before changing out of Blood spec, but only killed about a dozen more mobs before going to Unholy Spec - so maybe some RNG at play...

Hi guys and ladies! Just to clarify, you do need a buff - not any particular buff, just a buff, after killing the specific mobs listed in the achievement.
I did some while questing, and the others without questing, and it doesn't appear to be quest specific.
Also, sometimes i got the buff after a couple of kills, and other times it took longer. So if this is giving you the poops, just get up, go make a coffee/tea/whatever, then come back and continue. The key to this can sometimes mean being a little patient. But eventually you will get the buffs and by extension, the achievement.
good luck.
**ps. I did get this on my lvl 90, because I was farming quests for my loremaster just today. It is not impossible to get over level 60. Just wanted to clarify that for you all. Thanks.**

Hiya, everyone. Was just out achievement whoring today (as if it was different from any other day) and I realized I was only missing one item for the E'ko Madness achievement. Juju Brawn, listed as coming from, in some places Frostmaul Giants and in others, specifically Frostmaul Tumblers. I just want to verify that, just now, after killing dozens of Tumblers with my Lvl 90 Blood Elf Rogue, Kandoria, I finally got the buff and the achievement after killing a Frostmaul PRESERVER!
Just sayin'.

You do
not
need to go to the
southern ridge
of Frostwhisper Gorge to kill the
霜槌巨人
. There are not that many (I could only see one) and at level appropriate it was a much much tougher fight than any of the rare elites or end of quest chain mobs. I had to use battle elixir, guardian elixir, all defensive/attack cooldowns and switch druid forms several times to heal/soak/survive/attack.
Instead, stay at the
northern ridge
of Frostwhisper Gorge and kill the
霜槌滚岩巨人
. They are normal quest mobs. So if the right spec like a kitty druid then you can jump from one to the next until you get the E'ko buff. Plenty on these Tumblers, too.
Thankfully, for once, we do not need to take achievement/quest text that literally.

For those working on this in "latter days", in doing this in Shadowlands I noticed the comments saying that any of the Frostmaul giant-esque mobs would work. I killed many Frostmaul Tumblers to no avail, despite comments here saying that would count for the Juju Brawn buff. I went farther south and killed the actual Frostmaul Giants (who are still trivial at max level) and got the buff on maybe the 3rd or 4th mob.

Okay, so after about 20mins of killing Chimaeras, even tho ppl here said it doesn't make a difference, I removed any special gear I had on (for my DH it was two Shattered Abyss items) and literally got the buff after my first next kill. So, coincidence or not: giving it a try can't hurt!
And no, you don't need to be on the quests to get the buffs. I did this ages after I finished Winterspring, bc I only just found out about the achievement and was only missing the Chimaeras.

If you're doing Loremaster, you'll get most of the E'ko just doing quests in Winterspring. Every mob you need has a quest associated with it, so don't go out of your way for this. Just do all of the quests in the zone and you'll have it. The only one I had to actually kill more than the quest demanded was the Chillwind Chimaeras.
Note: You don't need the Cache of Mauri anymore to obtain the buffs from the E'ko and get the achievement.
