is this for a guild achievement? or a personal achievement? because I want to know which character will get the achievement if not all of them if it is merely for a single player

Damn it guild achievement ,was hoping this was one of the first of a few "Account wide achievements" blizzard had promised but were yet to see anything of,

As an Orc on a server with a lot of alliance, I'm not quite sure I'd like a teleport to Stormwind. Hopefully, there'll be a horde version announced.

a guildy got to 85 yesterday but its not showing credit on this achievment, anyone else see anything like this?

At the moment, have all 10 classes at 85 in guild and no guild achieve yet. Maybe they all need to be logged in at once? Opened a ticket just in case.

A note: In-game, it shows also "Requires guild reputation: Honored". Thus, I assume you can't just invite random level 85 players to get your achievement - rather, they have to be a part of the guild for a while and earn their stay, and only then count towards this achievement.

ok so now the question is do they have to be honored when they hit 85 or will it count once they get honored?

I beleive you also need rep lvl of honored with your guild to contribute to the guild achievment. Which on EU servers noone would have yet, not 100% sure on this but ive been told there is a weekly cap to your own personal guild rep, atm im stuck 500 points into friendly, dispite doing at least 100 quests today. Im sure sometime very soon guilds will suddenly be poping up with this achievment, granted that they also have the class combination at 85 needed.

Why on earth did the gentleman or lady receive all these negatives -- while the play on words is obvious (we have classes - they have to act) - the title reference to the musical is likely correct.

Because there's no reason I can see to assume that they had the musical in mind when they named the achievement
If there were a reason, the poster failed to mention it; and therefor failed to justify his assertion.
Pointing to something that derived its reference from a still older source, and claiming the newer reference was the source, almost always gets voted down because it is seen as a source of poor education. While this usually occurs when someone (often young) notices a similarity from a cartoon, comic book, movie or pop lyric, It's just as bad when taken from a play.

People will rarely get voted down if they attribute something to Shakespeare which originally appeared in an earlier work; no one's expected to know everything. But trying to claim something was the source, without any justification, when an older, more widely known source is available, often does (and in my opinion should) get voted away.

ok so can some one explain how to get this i have a 70 pally and thats my main and the pally and warrior is lit green i dont ever have a warrior so i am so lost

It appears that you still maintain your progress toward the achievement even if a level 85 character leaves the guild before the guild has completed the achievement with each class; our only 85 Warrior just transferred to a raiding guild, but our guild is still listed as having credit for a 85 Warrior under this achievement.

If anyone could confirm this, I'd be grateful.

Any Mists of Pandaria beta testers know how/if this achievement changes in the upcoming expansion? Will the item still be unlocked at 85, or will all of the classes (including Monk) now have to hit 90 for the item to be available to the guild? Thanks.

I asked this on the official WoW site but am posting here as well. Two places are better than one. :)

I have a question which is probably a silly one but I am asking it anyway. Our guild needs one more class, Warrior, to get the "A Class Act" Achievement. The Warrior a guildy is leveling is just one week from obtaining enough guild rep to actually earn that achievement. Will this patch (8/28/12) affect the achievement? I know it states that the Monk class and the Pandas will not be put in this patch but I would love to verify that this so we do not have to wait and level a Monk just to obtain "A Class Act". I would hate to be so close to the finish line and miss it by an update. Thank you in advance for the help.

As of patch 9.0 (Shadowlands prepatch) to get this achievement for your new guild all characters must be lvl 60....which means your new guild cannot make any further progress towards this achievement until Shadowlands launches Nov 23

For the last year, my guildies and I have been busting our asses with getting all our toons up in level to achieve this achievement. Thanks blizzard. You threw a block in and stopped it with the new expansions pack (Dragon) which there is no way in hell, that any members in our group will complete this. Thanks for the years of ass spanking, and working taking out our aggression out on others. This wife and husband team will NOT be upgrading game.

Timerunning characters during the Mists of Pandaria Remix event will not count towards this achievement. I would assume that they will when the event ends and they are converted to normal characters for The War Within, but at that point the pre-patch for The War Within would have already released and the new requirement for this achievement would be set at level 80 instead of level 70.

EDIT: After coming across a post on the official Blizzard forums, it appears that the level requirement to earn credit for this achievement was in fact raised to level 80 in patch 10.2.7 which baffles me because TWW hasn't even been released yet and it's impossible to reach level 80 at this time.

As of about a month into The War Within expansion, "Max Level" for this achievement is 70, and not the game's current max level of 80.
