In Phase 3, Aerial Command Unit form, kiteable Assault Bot adds are spawned. 1 Of these must be left alive for phase 4.

In Phase 4, V0-L7R-0N form, Mimiron again casts the lethal Rocket Strike at a location, preceeded by a 3 second visible warning. Kite the Assault bot into this small area.

they do literally millions of damage.... you will NOT live through it even with shield wall/dispersion/pain supression/unbreakable armor and some shields up ;)

Doable with a mage or a paladin bringing the bot into the target and then Bubbling/Ice Blocking.

A death knight using his taunt in combination with Chains of Ice should be best-suited for this since the bots can be snared/rooted.

If you want to solo this, you can get it by suiciding in phase 4. Both you and the Assault Bot will die at the same time, granting you the achievement.

They spawn in Phase 3 of the fight (Aerial Command Unit, head part) just keep 1 or 2 (as backup) alive and kill the Aerial Command Unit. When Aerial Command Unit is killed Phase 4 will start combining Leviathan Mk II, VX-001and Aerial Command Unit. It is this phase where Mimiron will shoot his rockets. Since you're solo (it did for me) he will shoot them all at the same location where you stand. Just get the Assault Bot in the targeted location on the map and let it get killed.

Since the rocket shot me (ilvl 521 retri pala) for 4.5m damage, it will certainly kill the Assault Bot with 1 hit.

Watch out you don't one-hit the Assault Bot's yourself since they only have about 100-200k hp.

If you have the tank legendary cloak you can actually soak a hit from Rocket Strike, just to make sure you get this achievement.

This may be obvious, but the phases go on as you kill the machines. I spent 5 minutes wondering why the hell wouldnt the tank spawn the bot :(

At level 100, I didn't kill any adds at all in phase 3 when the assault bots spawn. I just let them beat on me and nuked him to get to phase 4. In phase 4, I just stood there, didn't kite anything, just let the bots beat on me and let him cast whatever he wanted. The rocket strike will not kill you but it will kill the bots.

Did it as 718 ilvl BM Hunter.
1. Kill first two forms of the machine.
2. During aerial unit phase wait until Assault Bot spawns, then kill the aerial unit, leave Assault Bot scratching at you.
3. During phase 4 (Mimiron rides fully assembed 3-piece unit) wait in place for just over a minute until Mimiron fires a rocket at your location, indicated by the red scope sign on the ground. It kills the Assault Bot and you get the achievement right away.

Rocket blast left me with about half health bar gone, so I finished Mimiron afterwards, but you don't need to do so for the achievement.
