We just got this today, what you have to do is soulstone your healers, and go all out on the body. When the hand grips a dps, set 2 people to dps the hand, stop, then go for the body again.
When the hand is low on health, about half way through, you should only dps the hand, to free people if it's grabbing a healer, dps will just have to die....

Did this today, we decided to just ignore the arm entirely, expecting to be picked off 1 by 1. But when Kologarn picked up his first target, our healers just healed him through it and the target never died, and was never thrown away. This allowed us to kill kologarn at our leisure.

Dont know if this is a bug or not, as usually if you leave the targets inside stone grip, they get crushed to death for 80k, but our target never dropped below 60% health.

Did this today. We just ran in, blew cooldowns/heroism, and burned down the boss. No arm DPS at all, just let people who got gripped die (heals didn't help any, they'd die anyway due to the eventual killing blow).

We had a group that could do the XT kill in 166 seconds, so we had a lot of DPS.

Looking back I realize that we could have freed the first two or three people to get gripped. Probably. I didn't notice if the arm was taking incidental AoE damage or not.

Did this today on 25 man, it's not as easy as it seems. We DPS'ed the first three grips out of the arms, taking the right hand down to roughly 30% in the process. We found that it takes 20% of the hand's HP to make it let go of the targets. After the first three grips, we had our healers heal the people in the grip until they were crushed lifeless, this seemed to reduce the grip intervals. We soul-stoned as many druids as we could. Battle-Rezzes and Ankhs were all used, and we still finished with about 12/25 alive. We hit bloodlust at 95% to maximise the number of people to benefit from the buff.

Easy achievement. We did this by having our off-tank and a healer go to their DPS dual-spec.

Bloodlust on the pull, nuke it down. On the first grip we had non-DoT attacks on the right arm until they were released (80%), again on the 2nd grip and by the 3rd grip Kologarn was at 30% and going down fast so we just ignored them. He died just as he started the 4th grip.

If your one healer gets it have someone off-heal the tank, but that's the only bit of RNG that can mess you up.

From my previous experience with his gripping people, you could free people previously via a paladin's bubble or a priest's guardian spirit. This, however, doesn't seem to be working any longer.

We completed this acheivement without freeing anyone (didn't want to risk accidentally killing the arm, it nearly died anyways due to incidental AoE in the raid).

We, luckily had two druids and a warlock in the raid; Rebirthed the first two and Soulstoned the third while he was in the grip. With an ICC geared raid, you should only see a maximum of three grips, making this an easy 10 points.

Very easy to solo at level 90, be careful not to use abilities that hit more then one target (Maul in my case) as the arms are quite squishy now.

FOR SOLOERS:
Be sure to unequip stuff that can make you cleave. Like 忿欲，雪怒之怒 or 暴怒之印.
I found out they can kill the arms when I lost the achievement.

Did the exact opposite and blew up both his arms trying to get 断其臂膀（10人）. Gave me this one instead.
