The boss is now lvl 80! Droping the 2 mounts of the previus event and...
trinket: 84 dodge when equiped// 335 when used
trinket: critical strike chanse 84 // harmful spells have chanse to increase sp by 590!
trinket: dont remember name :P 170 stamina and summons a brewmayden wich gives brew like previus event trink!

I have a level 53 Druid and got the Achievement with the help of 4 80's. The Mole consoles work to get you to the bar. Cannot get quests so it helps to friends willing to help.

As per this year (2010), you have to use the dungeon finder tool to get this done. Running around BRD for three hours by yourself will not help you, as I found out the hard way. Using the que makes it take about 5 minutes total.

78+ only this year and it works ONLY with queue.

Doesn't help if you get a 80 friend either, cause you'll simply not find the boss there.

So how is this quest working post - Cataclysm? Are only level 85's allowed to do this? I'm level 83 at the moment and can't find it in the dungeon finder.

That will be annoying as it's the last one I need to get Brewmaster :(

There is a way around this to get the achievement for toons below the minimum level to be able to queue up for this fight. Been doing this since they first implemented the queue system.

You have to be high enough to enter the dungeon for it to work. Here's how:

Enter the dungeon with a friend. I dual box so I can do it that way. One of the the players will be leaving group at the beginning, before the pull. When you get in, don't start the fight. Make sure the toon that is going to remain in the group, is the group leader. Also, this is VERY IMPORTANT! The toon that is leaving group cannot be an important role such as tank or healer. You MUST queue as DPS because the fight can easily be handled w/ one less person. It's VERY likely your alt will die instantly, but you'll get the achievement.

Once in, leave the group, log on to your lvl 51 or whatever alt. Have the group leader (either your friend or your other account), get manually invited. Then the green dungeon "search eye" icon will appear, click it to port in. And you can kill the boss.

Note, you do NOT get the daily keg for the mounts or JP. You DO get credit for the kill, for the achievement, can roll on gear, AND the quest starting keg. I've done this for EACH holiday boss:

Love is in the Air boss is in NORMAL SFK, not heroic. If you go anywhere else in SFK, towards the end, the trash are all low level. Wowhead says lvl 11 can enter there. Average lvl is 16, at least by LFG's terms.

Midsummer, same deal. I think lvl 62 is the lowest to enter Slave Pens. Maybe more around 64.

Brewfest, low 50s to be able to enter.

Hallow's End, low 30s to enter SM Graveyard.

Remember, if you do it this way, just make sure the leader is someone who can manually invite you. Your toon who you queued up with, to reserve a spot, isn't an important role such as tank or healer. Also, if there is someone farming an item that they need, be kind and pass on it, even if you can use it....eventually. You are making them pick up the slack for your low level toon.

Didn't see this elsewhere but it should be know that there is no item-level requirement and you need to be level 84.

My partner and I are lvl 78 (approaching 79). We can talk to the guy in Dalaran to give us the option to queue to go kill Coren, but it only comes up with Random WotLK Dungeons or Specific Dungeons...

Are we missing something? Some people are saying they could queue for him at 78, others are saying you can only do it at 84/85...:S

I notice you get 40 Brewfest Tokens the first time you do this. But can you only get this bonus that once?
I a toon ought to be able to get some tokens as a bonus every day when they kill Direbrew, just like how you get the Keg-Shaped treasure chest the first Direbrew run you do per day. Basically makes it like another daily quest that max-lvl characters can use earn up tokens even faster.

If this is already the case, then how? Is there a daily quest I can pick up from a questgiver somewhere before queuing? I've queued & killed Direbrew several times this week, but only got tokens the first time.

hey - please feel free to try this, and + the post rating, or cross-post in other Coren threads:

Like last year, you do *NOT* have to be 84/85 to queue for Coren. Anyone who could normally queue for BRD is capable, although I mean to post this to help those 78+ who would like to have the trinkets or weapons (forget the remote & mounts - this won't work for that - you can't get the keg) waiting in the bank when they hit 85, like my rogue and pally.

Obviously, this is best for guildies or groups of friends. And you can run it as many times as you can stomach in one go, to get the exact trinkets you want. Just a few days left, so get on it!

Update for 2012: apparently now that Mists of Pandaria is out, you have to be level 89 or 90 for the event to show up in your dungeon finder.

Even though you can do this when you're 89, advise you to wait until you're 90. I've been kicked out of groups 3 times in a row now before the fight even started. Each with me getting Dungeon Deserter every time.(##RESPBREAK##)908##DELIM##FunkyJam##DELIM##Language.

Update 2015 : now that Draenor is out, you need to be level 100 to queue this :(

The same as every new expansion it seems: With Legion out, you now need to be level 110 for this Quest to show up in the Dungeon group finder.

I think the minimum level is 58 (because i couldn't queue at level 57) for the queue. But i haven't tried at level 58.

WoW Legion. Just did this achievement as lvl 46 Monk. Got hit up with lvl 110 party and tank got the mount :D So as long as you are higher than 46 go for it,the xp and tokens are great! proof that i can q : https://imgur.com/a/syJv0

This can now be completed at level 20 which should make it pretty convenient for allied races.
