This is actually very easy to get now. You can buy it for just a 45 silver from the Brewfest token vendor outside either Ironforge or Orgrimmar.

The quest for the pet will be back in Brewfest 2009. Some technical changes between 2007 and 2008 broke the Wolpentinger and Pink Elekks quests, and development wasn't able to get them recoded, along with locationalization and testing, in time for the 2008 holiday. So they just pulled them and put the Wolpentinger on the vendor. More info:

In order to fix the quests and add them back into Brewfest this year, we would have to not only make the requisite changes (which is not difficult in and of itself) but get all the new text localized into the nine official languages the game supports, have QA test the content to ensure the changes are working properly, and create a patch for all regions to bring the content due to the nature of the changes being unhotfixable. All of this combined is a bit more work than you seem to believe, and wouldn't happen for this year's Brewfest in any case.

Strange, I had Wolpertinger's Tankard from the last year and it dissapeared when 3.0 came out. Is this a bug or everyone has problems with that?

Does anyone have anymore recent information? No vendor seem to sell it 2011, and there is no quest either..

Edit: The pet is now sold by the token vendor, as several have written. I did however not see it the first hours of the Brewmaster Event, don't know if anyone else had the same problem. Did however get it finally :)

Alrighty for EU Realms in 2011, After a Server restart during the first day of the event the pet has been added to the vendor 'Belbi Quikswitch' for 45s & 35s if exalted with Gnomeregan.

Brewfest 2011:
In the server Hakkar after the restart of 11:14 today, the pet is sold by vendors at a cost of 35s from the NPC Belbi Quikswich

For Horde, it is sold by Blix Fixwidget (40, 17) in front of Orgrimmar.

In Brewfest 2012, Eu Server players can not have the quest to complete this achievement. Instead of that players need to buy the 鹿角小飞兔的酒杯 from 贝尔比 with a price of 200 Brewfest Prize Tokens.

You can buy the wolpertinger's tankard from the vendor, get the achievement and then just vendor the pet back for a full refund.

Damn what is this discrimination? EU players not allowed to start & complete quests that US players can.

I know you can get a refund for the pet, should you buy it, but I expect to be able to fully enjoy the game, no matter in what region I'm playing. It sucks.

Now I'll have to go watch another player, to play it for me on youtube. :/

As numerous people stated already, EU players don't have to do the quest for this achievement. Rather, you just buy the pet from Belbi Quikswitch, for 200 tokens. However, if you don't actually want to collect the pet and only obtain the achievement, you can sell it back to the vendor. It will allow you to retain both achievement and the 200 tokens, in case you want to buy something else. :)

You can still just buy Wolpertinger's Tankard, sell it for a refund and keep the achievement. Works in 8.2.5.

I can confirm that buying the pet, getting the achievement and selling it works in Shadowlands. So you only need around 200 marks for the Brewmaster title (which can be done in about 4 days).

Be sure to complete the achievement "Almost Blind Luck" while you're wearing the Synthebrew goggles for the "Catch the wild Wolpertinger!" quest.

In war within I found a quest that is so easy, just come to bar in Kaz algar or dragon isles, compleate quest and get 10 tokens!

This achivement never been so easy!

Totally i find 21 quests, thats equal to 210 tokens in 10-15 minutes. If you already did that quest it will not be avaliable on next Brewfest
