Looks like we get a new 45 minute run. I'm looking forward to it.
Edit: When I posted this the text required clearing in 45 minutes IIRC.
It has since been changed...
I will look into it on the beta and see if I can figure out if there is still a 45 minute pre-req or something.

to get this achievement, you must get to the infinite corruptor in under 25 minutes after you start the 10 waves event. after 25 minutes he despawns and you can no longer fight him. he is past the area where the final fight with mal'ganis is, with no trash between the last gauntlet and him.

The above comment is a little bit confusing.
To make it clear to everybody, after youve cleared the final alley BEFORE mal'ganis, you enter and area wich doesnt look like the scourge taken it over.
There are 2 ways, you can either go right to mal'ganis OR you can go left. The infinite corruptor is LEFT, you wont see him there immidiatly, you need to walk tru that ally a bit.
He also
drops a Flying mount
all the time. Similiar to the ZA Bear in the old times.

so do have to kill Mal'ganis first? Or can you choose to kill the "Infinite Corruptor" first?

For a little perspective here, I tried this today with the following group makeup:
- Protection Paladin (Me)
- Holy Paladin
- Shadow Priest
- Hunter
- Warlock
This was our first organized shot, and we actually just barely missed it. I was able to pull the mob with less than a minute left, but my healer was still too far back to reach us in time. He basically looks like a slightly bigger dragonkin (same skin as the others) and he's doing a kind of Drain Life on Chromie's buddy. As mentioned above, you don't kill Mal'ganis first. You continue into the healthy looking area of Strat and the mob is at the very end (bear left).
Some other information that might be useful:
Chromie whispers you when there is
exactly five minutes left
, and we got that whisper as we had
Chrono Lord Epoch (Boss #3) around 30%
. We pushed a little too hard through the zombies to make it comfortably, so unless you have a group makeup that's significantly better for handling zombies, this is probably a good gauge of how well you're doing. I'd say if your five minute warning is after Chrono Lord Epoch is down, you've probably got a good shot. If it's before you pull him, you're probably in trouble.
He's a hostile mob. He hits about as hard as Mal'ganis does. I didn't live long enough to see any special abilities. I
t also seemed clear that
unlike the Zul'Aman timers, if you pull him just before the timer expires, you have that full attempt to get him down.
After he ran off to kill the rest of my party, he reset, and then Chromie's friend's nameplate turned hostile, and they both walked into a portal. This leads me to believe that the mob has to reset in order to despawn.
EDIT: Marked out part isn't true.

If you don't kill him in the time left, he will walk into the portal and disappear. My group pulled him with under 1 minute left, got him to 37%, and then watched him walk away from us into his portal and disappear.
Make sure you give yourself enough time to kill him.

Not really difficult at all, you just need a competent group. In this way, very unlike the ZA speed runs, doesn't require super optimizing or anything.
Did it with:
BM Hunter
TG Warrior
Ret Paladin
Prot Warrior
Holy Priest
We actually had time to kill Mal'Ganis and still find the Corruptor, because we didn't realize he was before Mal'Ganis, so definitely not a relentless race against time.
Probably will become even easier once everyone and their mother has naxx gear.

Completed this with over 3 minutes left on the timer today. Just don't wipe and move fast. Make sure you immediately start Arthas's dialogs when he stops at every point, and clear the way of zombies for him after the 2nd boss when he runs to the town hall since he'll stop to kill any that get in his way if you don't.
Our group was:
Prot Warrior
TG Warrior
Unholy DK
Enh Shaman
Holy Priest
We used BL on Meathook and the corrupter.

We have been seriously going for this timer the past three days, and 3 of 5 have the Bronze Drake mount now. It's actually quite easy to do it once you get the hang of it. You can easily do it within the timer as long as you use mana pots throughout the entire instance to keep mana as high as possible.
We just keep chainpulling every wave and use the time you have after a boss to drink up if necessary.
We used the following setup:
- Protection Paladin
- Resto Shammy ( me )
- Enh Shammy
- Affli Lock
- Balance Druid
Enh Shammy talked to Arthas whenever it's needed. Having 1 non-aoe isn't really a problem since there are always 1-2 mobs with high HP. With our setup you have 2 Heroism's which means that you have Heroism on every boss.
Once you clear the 10 waves it seems that you can speed up Arthas' arrival at the town hall by running from the town hall towards him. You don't need to kill any Zombie's just run out to meet him.
Don't forget to talk to Arthas again after you killed the Epoch Hunter. Remember, appoint someone to talk to Arthas when you are still new to hitting the timer. Since there is no way to speed up his utterly useless speeches, every second is valuable :)
Do the gauntlet with 4-5 stops. AoE down and run on. Once you meet the Infinite Corrupter with 2-3 mins left, you should have no problem taking it down and preventing it from walking back into his portal.
Last night we had 4 minutes left on the timer after killing the Infinite Corrupter, seems an easy dragon for anyone with T6 / Heroism Emblem / Naxx gear and a playing style which doesn't include facerolling your keyboard
Note that the Bronze Drake is much smaller then the other Drake's, but i once heard someone say size doesn't matter?

As has been mentioned, despite the fact that this offers a mount it's a fairly easy run for any group in T6/Lv 80 blues. I've done the run with a DK, pally (myself) and warr tanking, with AoE heavy and single target heavy, and with and without shamans. All it comes down to is healer mana, and knowing how to pull quickly.
The format we usually use is this:
1. Start at the Y-junction just north of the entrance - it tends to be very close to all possible spawn points. Immediately run from point to point based on minimap references.
2. After the first boss, return to the Y-junction. Repeat the same process as with the first 5 waves. Start heading to the town hall immediately after the second boss.
3. Talk to Arthas ASAP, do the infinite dragonflight mobs, then the third boss. Again, talk to Arthas straight away.
4. In the gauntlet the tank should have 2 to 4 elites on him at all times. Only stop if the healer is dangerously low on mana, and even then only wait for them to get up to ~50%.
5. Pull the Infinite Corruptor immediately. If you're not the tank, pull him, and run back towards the tank - he doesn't leash until the timer expires.
6. As long as you reach the corruptor with 2 mins left on the clock (that is, 60 to 120 secs left) you should have it.
If you have one shaman, blow bloodlust/heroism on the second and fourth bosses, or the first and third - I prefer second and fourth in case you have not much time on the timer and really need to melt the corruptor, but first and third also works. If you have two shammies, do one on each boss.
It's really is quite easy though, and we actually got our first successful run on our second attempt (the first we missed out on by about 30 secs - it was also only our second day in the instance). Since then we've gotten it every day bar one, when we had *really* bad spawn points for the first 10 waves. Keep that in mind - some days you'll get great spawns right next to each other; others you'll keep getting shafted and having to travel from the Town Hall to the SW corner and back again.
Good luck!
Edit: I've just read a few comments that seem to believe AoE is important for the run. If your group is in T6/lv 80 blues it's not really necessary. Last night I ran it with a prot warr, myself (healing), a hunter and two feral druids, and we had 4 mins when we reached him. All that's required is competency, and not getting unlucky with the spawns of the first 10 waves.

A couple guildies and I have been doing this for about the past week with a hundred percent success rate. :D It's really fun to do, it reminds me slightly of the Baron run of pre-bc Strat, and is similar to the bear run in ZA as well. Our group make-up is...
Prot Pally
Resto Druid
Ret Pally
Ele Shammy
Enhance Shammy
With this group make up you have the pallies able to deal with the undead easily, a bloodlust for every fight (as long as you take 5 minutes between each boss), on the move heals with an innervate. Prot and ret pally average 1.7k dps, ele shammy 1.5k, and enhance 1.1k.
Youi want to pay close attention to where the mobs are spawning - the minimap will gain a small white flag where the mobs are. Most of the bosses (as I've noticed) are basic tank-and-spanks, if you have a good healer to deal with aoes and such. It's basically chain-pull after chain-pull. During most scripted events just run ahead of Arthas - he'll catch up while you're fighting.

Completed today with the following makeup:
Prot Paladin (Me)
Resto Druid
Unholy Death Knight
Ret Paladin
Feral Druid (Cat)
This group makes use of Massive AoE and an arsenal of Panic Buttons to thunder through very quicky, the whole group was in Heroic / Regular gear and we completely steamrolled it (We completed the waves in just shy of 8 minutes).
In fact we didn't actually realise you didn't need to down Mal'Ganis BEFORE going for the Infinite Corruptor, we killed Mal'Ganis and still had plenty of time to go back for the Corruptor and finish the job.
Death Knight got the mount and we planning on running it every day until we all have the Drake. ;P

Just got the achievement earlier tonight, group setup was:
Prot Warrior
Fury Warrior(me)
Ele Shaman
Balance Druid
Resto Druid
Group was all in mostly lvl 80 blues and heroic/badge epics, had 3 deaths during the instance with us getting unlucky and having a wave spawn right on top of us.
Killed the Epoch lord boss with about 5/6 minutes left. I had heard on a previous attempt that 3rd boss had to be down with 10 minutes left, which is completly untrue. We accepted that we were going too slow but carried on at a fast pace as good practice. Ended up getting to Corrupter with under 1 minute left, Shaman popped Bloodlust and we killed him with roughly 5-10 seconds left. I won't lie, i sweated a little.
So long as all the group can do their job well, there is room for error. I say this because other groups i have been with tend to give up after small mistakes or a lost minute or two.

I would like to give a warning to anyone who is attempting this in the near future:
Missing the achievement and the drake by 1 second will leave a permanent stinging feeling on your ego. No amount of Maly downs or Naxx achievements will ever get rid of it.
Would just like to throw it out there.
...ow, here it comes again...

just as an extra note if your group is good on mana to not need to mana up a lot the best way to do this is to run normally moving as fast as possible the last stretch of that ally is always the worst part. What the groups that I have succeeded with have done is as soon as you get your elite to half way have the tank move it to the next one then begin to aoe. Rinse repeat.... u can have a short mana break half way through the ally but dont wait to long the mobs do respawn.

Ok, so here is my issue with this.
The past 5 days, I have successfully completed this timed run, five days in a row, (makes me proud, character has been 80 just 8 days now) and one thing I notice is how slow Arthas is to appear after killing Boss#2.
My group is mad quick, I don't let them stop at all, as soon as Boss #2 is dead, everyone is at the Inn waiting. However, I'm curious if there is a specific way to trigger Arthas' arrival at the inn.
Yesterday, my group finished Boss #2 with... 16 minutes remaining. Plenty of time. However, Arthas did not appear for nearly two full minutes of us waiting at the inn (I had everyone stand inside, then made them all come back outside after 30seconds of no Arthas appearing).
The day before, my group finished Boss #2 with... 14 minutes or so remaining, and I swear, the moment I had my whole group waiting at the inn, Arthas appeared.
So... has anyone determined if Arthas is on a dedicated spawn timer? That is to say, will he only appear if for example, all my group is standing on the stairs to the inn, if we're all inside/all outside?
My favourite makeup to bring is:
ME! (Protection Paladin, top notch!)
Healer (Any who can keep up. So far have used Holy Paladins and Holy Priests)
Ret Paladin
Ret Paladin or unholy DK (Speed boost!)
Other (can be caster/hunter/or melee, Melee being the best in this place)
I've yet to do 5 Paladins, but soon I shall. Enough Holy Wrath's to never take a hit lol :)
I've also yet to win the roll for the mount /cry.

You can make the race for

and

quite nervewracking if you start the last event with Mal'Ganis before going for the Infinite Corruptor.

Solo'd this today as an 85 DK, with 2 minutes to spare.
Just make sure u have blood presence on, use blood boil on the risen zombies and Death & Decay on the elites. Heal up before each encounter with elites. The elites do more damage than the bosses. Use darkflight whenever u can.
Endboss went down in under a minute and all zombies elites and bosses dead. Artas was still alive and w8ing for Malganis.

Also solod it as a 85 hunter (ilvl 359), used steelskin, a food buff (Basilisk Liverdog plus 90 stamina and agility), 5 Mythical Healing Potions and a spirit beast.
What I did was dismissing my pet after clearing the second Boss (I didn't want him to agro anything) and used Camouflage to sneak as far as possible into the street. Unavoidable I got detected, so then I ran as far as possible to the gate which is halfway the street. Used Feign Death when I was as close as possible by the gate (health was really low) when everything was quiet popped up again, called spirit beast to get the crowed off my back and ran the last meters to the gate. Luckily my pet had all the agro so I could heal myself with Mythical Healing Potion and Spirit Mend while my pet killed the crowd. At the gate you have the chance to fully restore your health as the crowed will not be agrodby your present. Second part of the street used the same method (ditching pet, using camouflage/running/Feign Death) again I was lucky enough to reach the end of the crowd before I had to use Feign Death. Had 2 minutes left when I reached the Infinite Corruptor.
During proces died also one time figting the zombie waves in the beginning, so for decently geared 85 hunter it must be possible. One last advice use intimidation to pull the agro to your pet when you pop up your pet.

this dungeon can be soloed! i went with my paladin (tank spec) with an 378 ilvl, and saved "lay on hands" spell, for the boss. easy, and finally got a drake mount i didnt need to farm token or buy for :)
i guess it would be harder to do it as pure dps, since i wiped 3 times with retri spec, long before i ever was done with the scourge waves :P

I soloed this dungeon on my goblin mage (ilvl 391 PvE) and got to the infinite curruptor with 4 min left, i even died once.
I used frost spec, kept ice barrier up at all times and at every pull i used my water elementals freeze to get 2 fingers of frost and used frost bolt together with ice lance to two shot enemy's.
On the bosses however i used freeze again but since their immune to stuns i then used deep freeze to crit them for 70k. I also used mirror image at every boss too keep them of me.
Also to deal with the zombies in a good way i used arcane explosion.

I solo'd this today on my 397 ilvl SV Hunter. Not sure how much time I had left but this was my first time ever in this instance so anyone who's done it before will surely have as easy a time as I did. I didn't find the Infinite Corruptor difficult to kill at all. I simply cast misdirection on my pet, popped all my cooldowns/trinkets and he was dead in about 10-15 seconds. I wasn't buffed either.
The mounts isn't the greatest, but it's 1 more towards my Red Dragonhawk Mount!

Confirmed today that it's possible to solo this as a rogue...hard as hell but still possible. ilvl 395 pvE combat rogue. I kept recup up and used potions, popped cooldowns wisely, ate between combats and took advantage of troll regeneration. Just pop fan of knives if you get too many zombies on you. I actually stealthed past the burning portion of stratholme and left Arthas behind- you can leave him fighting a ghoul or something by town hall while you go get your mount. The only thing to keep in mind when doing this dungeon is that lifegiving seeds don't work- you need real food.

To add to the ever growing list of blood death knights who soloed this, I just did it tonight. However, I didn't bother looting any corpses except the bosses, and made it with about eight minutes on the clock to kill the corrupter.

Just soloed as a lvl 90 mage.
Very easy, made it through most of the instance just spamming Arcane Explosion.
Still had 15 minutes left to go at the end.

Me and my girlfriend, both lvl 90 mages, ran this yesterday spamming Arcane Explosion. At the waves we stood at one end each solo'ing them down. Had 16/17 minutes to spare when we reached the Infinite Corruptor. Easy achievement, and a new mount for the collection. This is possibly one of the easiest achievement regarding the meta-achievement Glory of the Hero.

Fairly easy in modern times, as long as you do everything within 25 minutes. I soloed the dungeon (including the "kill 100" achievement) with about 10 minutes to spare. The mob in question is in the alley before Mal'Ganis. You can kill the Corrupter before or after Mal'Ganis. I can confirm he's still up AFTER Mal'Ganis goes down. He always drops the mount.
