The timer for gold on this one is quite tight. Just focus on your vigor management, and you'll be fine. Don't spam surge incoherently, try to keep your thrill of the skies active throughout the whole race.

Got 64.081. Safe to say I'm depressed.

Surge through the first two rings. Between the second and third ring there is a green vigor orb directly down. Pick up the green orb and immediately hit Skyward Ascent to get into the third ring. That gave me enough speed at the very start of the race to hit the gold timer.

Had trouble doing this on Gold.
Did the Reverse race first until I got the pacing right.

Afterwards I tried Advanced again and clocked in at 60.661 seconds.

I had a lot of trouble here until I started using Skyward Ascent just before the lava waterfall around the mid-way point, and again for the last two rings.

59.140 seconds, surge through the first 2 ones, dive down and pick pick up the green orb, use the skill to fly up, then use it again 3 times more throughout the race before hills including before the lava falls and before the finish.
