Just remember:

With all male NPCs make sure you're wearing the perfume, then....

-get smashed
-toss the pedals on him
-kiss him.

I forgot the put on the perfume. And had to wait an hour before i could get more pedals.

Btw, Make sure you are completely smashed and have the perfume on before showering him with the petals and kissing him or else you will not get credit for it.

by getting smashed you have to be completely drunk (the screen blurred totally). It can be from any kind of drink, best to do with strong ones since you can get smash with 4-6 drink. Also, I think it's better to wait til the rose pedal buff removed from the mob before you throw yours on him.

Confirmed. I just completed it with Bouquet of Red Roses. I have to add some random player put on the actual Handful of Rose Petals on him before I used the item. Might have something to do with each other.

If you're really going to get upset for kissing a pixelated dwarf in the fear of being deemed homosexual, you have real problems.

Also, it's spelt "PETALS" for those who keep calling it "Pedals" - You're showering him with rose petals, not throwing bits of bike at him.
He definately wouldn't kiss you then.

Remember if you have your graphics set on the lowest you can't see if your screen gets blurry, in that case you have to know that; You are "completely smashed" after 5-6 of a "strong alcoholic beverage", at that point use any of the perfumes you can buy at the vendors for one love token on yourself, and use a rose petal on him, followed by /kiss. He patrols the bank in ironforge.

Full guide to complete it.

You will need:
1x Handful of Rose Petals
1x 5-6 strong drinks. (I used the from brewfest instead of spending gold on vendor drinks.)
1x "VICTORY" Perfume wich you can buy from same vendor as the Rose Petals. Remember you need Perfume! Not cologne it won`t work tried it (07.02.2010. 16:30 GTM +1)

Step 1: Use the Perfume.

Step 2: Drink so you get Completely smashed (You will get a text in the chat if you`re unsure.)

Step 3: Trow on him.

Step 4: Target Sraaz and do the emote /Kiss

Congratulations you have earned 10 Points.

Poor guy. Imagine you were a guy going around selling pie because that's really the best thing you could do. And then, suddenly, several thousands of overly drunken people overdozed with perfume come sporadically tossing a handful of rose petals at you, and on the top of it, kiss you, both males and females; all this in a reckless manner. You know, just like that. Without any respect or anything at all. I think you'd eventually turn rather hysterical, and perhaps even later "T-T /shootself". I must say I feel a bit sorry for him. x3

Still, it's funny the guy is a gnome. Gnomes are always exposed to things like this. xD

Just to clear up the confusion that I ran into: You want to be wearing PERFUME, definitely not COLOGNE. I chased that pie vendor all over the Great Forge, throwing pedals on him like the drunken mage I was. It wasn't until I picked up Enchantress perfume (I'd been wearing Wizardry cologne to that point) and tried again that I got the achievement.

Smashed and Sloshed appear to mean the same thing for the inebriation mechanic. (Although I don't know how fast it wears off.)

Dark Iron Alcohol (defunct) inebriate 75 "sloshed"

Potent alcohol inebriate value 50 "sloshed"

Strong alcohol inebriate 20 "drunk"

Standard alcohol inebriate 10 "tipsy"

Weak alcohol inebriate 5 "buzzed"

Ok I got a workaround for buying the petals from a GM:

Click on vendor and type the following in the chat box, replacing the word slot with the number next to the item list below:

/run BuyMerchantItem(slot)

Lovely Rose = 2
"Bravado Cologne" = 3
"STALWART" Cologne = 4
"Wizardry" Cologne = 5
"VICTORY" Perfume = 6
"Forever" Perfume = 7
"Enchantress" Perfume = 8
Handful of Rose Petals = 11

I bought the items I needed for this quest by typing /run BuyMerchantItem (5) and (11) for this achievement, but I'm unable to complete it. I got completely smashes, put on my cologne, threw rose petals at him and then /kissed him, nothing happened. Is this another bug or am I just doing it in the wrong order!

Forever Perfume doesnt work either. Just tried it and never got the achi.

Edit: I tried both Stawart cologne and Forever perfume, no achi.

ONLY Perfume...
like:
- "VICTORY" Perfume
- "Forever" Perfume
- "Enchantress" Perfume

Cologne DOES NOT WORK...
don't use:
- "Bravado" Cologne
- "STALWART" Cologne
- "Wizardry" Cologne

it cost me token for cologne and one cast of petals...

I watched someone else do this achievement with no problems.. but when I do it, it doesn't give me credit. Here's what happened:

First, I got smashed with Bourbon. I threw the handful of rose pedals on the guy, and /kiss him. Noticed I didn't get the achievement, I forgot the perfume. So I applied the perfume, made sure I was smashed, threw the pedals and /kiss him again. Still, no achievement. Tried waiting til I was sober, reapplied the perfume (after debuffing it), got smashed, threw the pedals again and then /kiss.. Still no achieve..

So, what am I doing wrong? Or do I have to wait for something (reset or the pedal buff to disappear from Sraaz)?

It takes five strong alcoholic beverages (i.e. Highland Spirits) to get completely smashed.

1. Make sure the yellow message comes across your screen "You Are Completely Smashed off of {Insert Alcoholic Drink of Choice Here}"

2. Confirmed, the bouquet you get will work in place of the "Handful of Rose Petals"

3. You have to wear perfume not Cologne

4. You will...indeed....regret it in the morning

I went through 5 lots of the rose petals trying to get this achievement and no luck.

I did it by getting smashed, then putting perfume on, then throwing petals and finally kissing and a few other variations and nothing. I'm putting a ticket in. We've had the patch and hotfixes that were meant to fix the bugs so I'm kind of annoyed that I still can't complete a lot of these achievements :(

So, after what happened to my friend during his attempts to get this achievement, I feel the need to share.

The requirements are:
-get smashed
-put on your best perfume
-throw rose petals on Sraaz
-/kiss Sraaz

Well, he bought the beer, located Sraaz, and proceeded to get his priest drunk to the point where he couldn't see his screen (which was smashed).

Then, over Skype, I hear "Wow, I've never gotten drunk in the game enou-- WHAT THE F? YOU NEVER MENTIONED I NEEDED THE ROSE PETALS!"

So, he then half blindly flew around Ironforge to find the 'Lovely Merchant', which sold the Handful of Rose Petals.

He then turned around to find Sraaz again, got re-drunk (it had gone down to the 'lower' levels of drunk), threw petals on him, and tried to kiss him.

...Then, over Skype, I hear "WHAT THE F! I NEED PERFUME TOO? WHAT THE F!" The hysterical part is, he's so frustrated his voice has gone up a few octaves and he sounds infuriated. Over perfume.

At this point, I was laughing too hard to answer him. I was in the "Laughing so hard you're silent" stage.

For this achivement you will need :

The list :

高地烈酒 x5 (If you have the recipe you can cook them up , if not try search AH if there are no Highland Spirits at AH find a Cooker who can make 5 for you )
After that Visist a lovely Merchant and buy a perfume (i have used & )

Then , go to Ironforge and find Sraaz (a gnome Pie Vendor
Map that can be found 斯拉兹
When you spot him , get drunk ,use your perfume and use the Handful of rose petals on him and then /kiss him !

Achievement must be done after all !

i actually did this a bit backwards:

Bought the things i needed from the holiday vendor,

bought the alcohol from the vendor in Ironforge ( from the brew of the month club inkeeper, just north of the auction house by the bank in IF),

found Sraaz,

FORGOT to put on perfume,

got drunk, threw rose petals, kissed him (expected the cheevo, but didn't get it) then wondered what the heck i did wrong... remembered the perfume,

put perfume on, then threw rose petals again and DING got the cheevo.

So i believe this can really be done in any order since i kissed him without the perfume and it still counted, except for the rose petals i guess, those have to be thrown after using perfume.

1) Used a VICTORY perfume
2) Drinked "Darkbrew Lager" х 5 (that's exactly amount of alcohol to be smashed)
3) Used on Sraaz (the vendor which is rounding in the Great Forge in the Ironforge) "Handful of Rose Petals"
4) wrote "/kiss"

Here's a complete and easy guide to get this achievement, summing up what everyone else has said. (Special thanks to Papin, Amberrock, and Ploskov).

First you will need
-Handful of Rose Petals x1 which cost Love Token x2
-"VICTORY" Perfume x1 which costs Love Token x1
-Darkbrew Lager x5 which can be made from cooking (Buy Jug of Badlands Bourbon x2 and Skin of Dwarven Stout x4 which are sold by Colin Field in Stormwind)

Now to get the achievement:
1.) Fly to Sraaz in Ironforge
2.) Use your "VICTORY" Perfume
3.) Drink your Darkbrew Lager x5 to get completely smashed
4.) Target him and throw Handful of Rose Petals on him
5.) Use the emote "/kiss" on him

Lots of comments here recommend a certain type of alcohol to be made with cooking or something... but ANY alcoholic beverage works, so you can just go to the inn and buy whatever from the barmaid.

If you buy something 'strong', it takes 5 to get completely smashed, and if you just buy the 'typical' (which is much cheaper), it takes 10.

So basically - hand a few silver to the barmaid in the inn, and you're set!

If you want to get rid of being completely smashed quicker get some *Blackrock coffee*, i had to drink 2 of it and i was sober again.

You have to use perfume, cologne does not work. Any of the perfumes work; it does not have to be one suited to your spec. (A warrior can use the spellcaster perfume for the achievement.) If you are doing the Crown Chemical Co. apothecaries daily in Shadowfang Keep, there's a fair chance perfumes will be in the extra loot from Hummel. It happens often enough that you may not have to buy any. Finally, for those of you who have been playing for a very long time, if you happen to have a bottle of the old perfume before the event was revamped, the ones with no stat buff, they no longer work for this achievement.

For the horde side, the Jeremiah Payson in Orgrimmar will not contribute to the achievement. Only the Jeremiah Payson in Undercity does.

I couldn't complete this one today. I don't know what I was doing wrong, but it wasn't working. I get the perfume on (check that it is really perfume and not cologne). I get completely smashed. I throw a "Handful of Rose Petals" on Sraaz (and the icon for the shower of rose petals appears under his name), and I /kiss him (and the chat window reports that), and still nothing. The perfume buff is still on me. A minute or two later, I lower down my drunkenness level below 'completely smashed'. I did everything right, as far as I can tell, but the achievement does not complete. What am I doing wrong?

As a cosmetic item the use effect on the 一束红玫瑰 is now to learn that appearance. As such the previous use effect, to shower a nearby target with a cascade of rose petals, has been transferred to the 一袋红玫瑰花瓣 reusable item (that for some reason is not a toy). That is what you may now use for this achievement.
