When the boss casts Scornful Gaze, it breaks a bookshelf if its between you and the boss.
Break all four bookshelves in order to uncover the four books.
Do them clockwise, starting with the left to the entrance.
Everybody in group has to click all four.
You can watch people's buffs to track how many books theyve read.
When you read all four just burn the boss.

To make this easier, have people burst adds upon a shelf breaks to not get people silenced.

We'll I be damn, I'm the first to post (Or not anyway, refresh haha!). So after I saw they gated some rep fun, I thought I would do the 5 man on patch day with achivements.

We went in blindly, here was our tactic:

Go behind bookcase, let boss charge bookcase 4 times. When this is done, go loot books - IN ORDER OF 1, 2, 3, 4. Make sure all get buff before killing boss. The buff name changes description to something like Totally tantalized. Avoid his stomp also, nobody can die before you kill boss, but you can die and get res, even after having looted first books etc.

Pro-tip: Dont go for books before all 4 bookcases are down. Go with 2 healers, dont dps on boss, tank needs to generate migation/rage for long fight, he will solo kill boss nearly.

Confirmed again, tried solo and did not get achievement.

confirmed with gm (because i submitted a ticket after doing this with one other person and not getting the achievement ) that this still requires a 5man group...

So today we did this as a 5-man group, but for some reason I could not click the last book. We wiped twice to test again, but on the third attempt it was still impossible to click the book. I then did a /reload after disabling all addons (I have too many to list), and then it worked. So if you have problems clicking the books: turn off your addons.

If you are having trouble clicking on the books a simple /reload or relog will fix it.

In current patch this achievement requires 5 man party.
1. Clear trash in boss room
2. Agro boss and wait him to use Charge
3. Stand behind bookshelf to destroy it with Charge
4. Destroy all bookshelfs
5. Books will spawn on floor and You can click them in order 1,2,3,4 - make everyone do that in Your party
6. Kill boss

As of today, patch 10.2.6, this achievement doesn't work for solo, you need a full group, not even with duo. Sux to find it out this way.

Today, 10-19-24, ran thru here solo. Was actually able to click every book/read. Killed boss. On Mythic. No achievement awarded. The inconsistent spaghetti code in this game is unbelievable.
