Looks like this is not "that hard". Apparently this is a personal achievement. You get the buff as soon as Odyns start his roleplay (before he's pulled). You need to be inside the instance or you will miss it. After that you need to "just" oneshot all the bosses without diying. As I said the buff is personal so it doesn't matter if anyone else die but you can't wipe, and need to kill all 3 bosses first try. Maybe you can avoid it if you use feint death or vanish or some mechanic that prevent you from diying if your raid wipes.

Edit: Looks like this was "hotfixed". Now if you lose the roleplay but you are inside when Odyn is pulled you will get your buff applied to you as soon as you pull. This is nice for people who join late and got summoned just before the pull.

This achievement, and it's corresponding title, , are no longer obtainable.
They were awarded for completing the Trial of Valor raid on Mythic Difficulty during the Legion expansion, without dying once in a single run full-clear. It was tracked per-person, so if individual members died but others didn't, the living members would still get the achievement.

This achievement was moved to a Feat of Strength and made unobtainable upon the release of Patch 8.0, the Battle for Azeroth pre-patch, released July 17th, 2018.

In addition to the title, this achievement also awarded the ensembles for the Mythic Trial of Valor transmogs, via 勇者的证明, which was mailed to the character on which this achievement was completed. This was and is the only way to obtain the Helmets, Shoulders, and Cloaks of the sets. However, there are similar cloaks with the same texture but different shapes available from Mythic ToV.

The 勇者的证明 was BoE until June 15th, 2018, where it was changed to be BoP, to avoid it being sold to other players or being sent to alts where it could have been opened for ensembles of armor types for classes other than the one that the achievement was completed on. With it being made unobtainable on July 17th, it was also changed to be a grey item that cannot be opened, making the armor pieces exclusive to the ensemble completely unobtainable.

I can confirm that even if the raid wipes but you happen to stay alive through vanish,invis, or any other means, you don't lose your buff. We wiped on Helya but I was able to vanish and the boss reset. We killed it on the next pull and I was the only one in my raid to get the achievement.

In short: This is the Legion version of the old Immortal title. But instead of it being a raid-wide title it's a player-wide one. So whoever finishes the raid without dying will get the title.

How to get it: You must enter 勇气试炼 on mythic difficulty. You will get a buff on you 神选者的考验. If you die at any point you will lose the buff. You must finish the whole raid without dying/losing the buff. If you don't have the buff on you that means you won't get the title. You gotta defeat all of the bosses with having 神选者的考验 on you. You will get the 神选者 achievement once you defeat 海拉. Good luck!

Does anyone know if I would achieve this on for an example a leather wearer and get the set on that, would I also get the set on my plate-wearer? figure if I could try on more characters each week if that would work

Is this the only way to get the mythic transmog set? I've heard the ensemble can still drop randomly from bosses.

It would be nice to have a 'No longer available' red comment for the achievement and gear like other things that have been removed from the game. Reading to comments will give you the info you need, but the 'red comment' is a quick and easy way to check if it is available. Came here after not getting the set or title after a couple of mythic runs .

I remember that I tried during roughly 8 weeks with pugs on my Holy Priest, but most of those groups did not succeed due to lack of knowledge about tactics, or they ignored them. Even though many groups later outgeared the raid for the title, you could still easily die or wipe if you ignored the tactics, or did not have enough performance such as bad tanking, DPS or healing per second.

On the final run I did I remember that we were extremely close to wiping on 海拉. Including me, less than 10 people were alive but we still managed to kill her against all odds, and it felt like such an accomplishment when we downed her with so few people alive.

Today I use the title on most of my characters, because according to me it displays skill and dedication- as well as a good memory of accomplishment for me.
