Most Popular WoW Classic Class and Leveling Guides (Sept 15)

For this weekend's WoW Classic popular guide report, we're seeing a max-level Best in Slot guide make the list for the first time! Check out what guides players have been using the most from September 13th through 15th on Wowhead.
Do note that the following lists are based on Wowhead traffic, and reflect most popular
guides
not overall content in the game. People usually go to Wowhead when they need help with something, such as a confusing quest or location of a trainer NPC. If you've encountered a guide that you feel is a hidden gem and should get more attention, let us know in the comments!
Most Popular WoW Classic Class and Leveling Guides
Players usually have more time for WoW on the weekend, getting in more leveling progress or catching up after a busy workweek. This weekend appears to be no exception, as we're seeing popular guides across a wide range of level bands, ranging from level 30 dungeons to level 60 gear.
Our
Uldaman Guide
hit the top 25 a few days ago and continues to stay there, but notably, the lower-level dungeons like Blackfathom Deeps are still equally as popular--proving that the leveling pack is getting a bit spread out. We're also seeing
Razorfen Downs
and
Sunken Temple
right outside the top 25, although the interest in ST may die down when more players realize the
Class Quests
aren't implemented in this phase.
Profession guides continue to rise and outpace leveling guides, as First Aid and Leatherworking continue to be extremely popular for quests like
Triagem
and
Couraria tribal
. This is likely due to players leveling more slowly at higher levels, with their leveling builds already planned out. Instead of needing to look up where to spend talent points every few hours, they are instead caring about their professions more.
Another reason why leveling guides are losing traffic is that players are close to hitting 60 and researching max-level information instead! The
Mage Best in Slot Guide
is our first max-level guide to hit the top 25 since Classic launch, with the
Rogue Best in Slot Guide
just outside. Players may be more interested in looking forward to gear they should hold onto at max level, instead of looking up how to spend the final few points in their talent tree. We also recently published a list of
pre-raid Best in Slot gear
from level 40-49 sources, if you're interested in that!
What does this data all mean? We're seeing more level variation on Wowhead over the weekend, with the core leveling group in the late 30s/early 40s, supplemented by smaller groups of players in their 20s and 60s balancing things out.
