Oh how I wish this existed two weeks ago!Oh well, at least new players get to enjoy it. It's funny, as I was collecting the altars, I was fantasizing about something exactly like this. :)
That’s the awesome Diablo endgame content I was waiting for over 10years
lol. Great way to copy someone's work. Copy/Paste, errors and all. Anything for that Ad revenue. What would be a better use of your time and worth the click would be to actually trace the route to the Altars instead of doing a 1:1 trace job, such that the 4th Altar from Gea had a correct route to it, instead of wondering, "Hey, this route ain't right." when you come to it.
More useless articles wow players don't need to see....
Theres no way im crazy enough to do this in one go. They wild for this one.
Every time i see the map for this game i just think its so god damn ugly. its got a breath of the wild kinda vibe to it but worse. i thought the world looked great when i played but the map just looks.... very samy. just a ton of winding ugly paths and very uninspired. the map seems to be lacking creativity
Looking at a solid 5 hours of pure, unadulterated and ecstatic funjoyhappiness. It's #$%^ that you have to do this for performance reasons. Make it give a title, a mount, a special mog whatever, but tying power to this mindnumbingly boring and mundane task makes it an utterly annoying and dreadful chore.Seriously, whoever came up with tying power to geographical exploration is truly a special person.
While I appreciate the map here, there's unfortunately a lot of inaccuracies. I'm not sure whoever made this ran the route vs. re-planning from the other map. There's a dozen or so spots along this route that are pathing to the wrong side of cliffs/staircases/pathways/etc. where the path would need to take a different route to get to the altar.
While I had already gotten all the Altars on Softcore, I was doing a Hardcore Seasonal character and thought this would help. The downside is that this map is basically just playing connect the dots. Many of these altars are on the wrong side of a cliff/path meaning that if you try and follow the line as roughly indicated, you frequently have to back track. The first example of this is 4 altars in (if you go up/left rather than right towards the PVP area), the 4th altar is in Dahlgur Oasis, meaning you have to loop around.Good in theory, but this was not really reviewed by who made it.
