Good. IMO if the systems weren't in place in vanilla, they shouldn't be in place in classic. Next I hope they disable ActionCam.
what game it this mobs passing walls ? how is that possible
I know the reason why it's disabled but it's also not fair for ranged classes who have to go closer if they are fighting multiple mobs to see which one has lowest hp and focus it down. I've been leveling hunter and doing big pulls with my group so we kinda worked around it to just attack marked mobs but still they could do something to make both sides happy.
By that logic, blizzard should ban weak auras as well, and all the addons that were not being used in Vanilla , for the sake of " the vanilla experience " . but they will never be.Which i agree.I just really dont understand why theres no such option for nameplates in the game. This is Classic wow,not vanilla anymore from 15 years ago. It's 2019 and doesnt hurt the game in any way from a PVE perspective
Action cam doesn't give you an unfair advantage
Good, all the 15 years of quality of life changes shouldn't exist in vanilla.
I enjoyed having the extra view distance available. I don't care if it existed or not in Vanilla. It won't stop me from playing but there are some things that should be in-game and I feel this is one of them.
We had weak auras in vanilla..
I don't understand why is everyone so hell bent on telling me how am I supposed to play the game if it doesn't affect anyone except me
Now when will they fix hunters .................
Well, it's not 2004 anymore. If they are going out of their way to enforce a bad design just because, there are PLENTY of options in 2019 to play. The "bringing back old players" was surely short lived, because with nameplates vanishing under 1/2 of the range of my attacks, the game isn't fun to play anymore.I'm not masochist.EDIT: BTW, i was digging into it and Leeroy Jenkins video shows that vanilla hadn't this steep limitation of 20 yards:https://youtu.be/mLyOj_QD4a4?t=117
I think that its terrible to have 20y nameplate range. Ranged almost never get to see nameplates, which are vital for many addons. Instead of !@#$ty 20y distance, nameplates should've been hidden when target is out of LoS. Melee have advantage in this area.
Not against this having a set standard, but it should be the max range of ranged classes. Stupid to have it 10 yards shorter than what you can target. If max range is 30 yds then max range should be 30 yards, etc.I'm all for the 'vanilla' experience but this isn't really vanilla, it's a version. I don't believe there should be an unlimited nameplate range, but why make it more difficult for ranged classes? Especially hunters having a dead zone - just silly IMHO.
Another video from Vanilla where you can clearly see nameplates further than 20 yards at the Injured Peasant in the left of the screen at 1:35.https://youtu.be/oIeRYp956q4?t=95This 20 yards is a crap from THIS development team that wasn't on vanilla at all.Why that?
