Fishing in Classic WoW is a popular choice that should be picked up by all classes, as everyone can learn the profession despite their primary professions. Fishing is mainly used to provide reagents for the Cooking profession, but this relaxing profession has some additional uses, like providing pearls like

for other high-end professions and
Stonescale Eel
for Alchemists. Fishing is also the only way to obtain
