It looks to me like the Dark Adepts share spawns with the Shadowmages and the Crypt Slayers. Good info if you're trying to farm the Greater Shadow Protection Pot recipe :)

This monster is a Humanoid and has one main ability: Snap Kick. Snap Kick is a one second stun, which also has a very short cooldown. This monster has an above average amount of life. This monster has a slim chance to drop Recipe: Greater Shadow Protection Potion, which sells for approximately 10 gold on the Auction House.

These are great farming in the fungal vale. You obtain numerous invader stones for rep, rune cloth, a rare spawn spawns in the area, the always in demand Greater Shadow Protection recipe for Alchemists and there is a chest in the fungal vale that respawns every 15-20 minutes which typically contains a vendor trash item that sells for 1G~ and can contain high level world drop BoE blues.

Spent about 50min at the fungal area in EPL (41,52). Killed 9 Adepts and 9 Shadow Mages. It dropped off my 9thAdept kill, crispy 11% drop rate.
