Has around 3k hp, can be rooted, stunned. Still a hard guy to solo, but doable if you use pots. Even so, a 2 man team would be advised for this. (with at least a tank - hits for 80-100 on a lvl 30 tank)

He's also humanoid, so he'll run away "in fear" at around 5%, make sure you either clear the surroundings, or prepare some sort of stun/burst attack.

True he is immune to fire... (maybe due to his father who was dragon slayer) lore of blizz kills sometimes... thought he can be feared. and kite as well...i suggest go around and kill the mobs that are down of the tent then pull the Chieftain Nek'rosh at the road. you will avoid ninja pulls.

28 lvl warlock i kite him and and kill him. not even the pet die cuz i have the agrro almost all the time. the key is to put the curse and the corruption and start run the pet will not take aggro.... just run and renew the dts...when i was near the tunnel to loch modan the chief was down. Also pull and a mob by accident that i kill at the beging. Every class that can kite can beat him.

ps. The first post i do it when i do the first try. This one i do it at the seond attempt.

As we waited around for this guy to respawn, we were ganked by some lvl60's who came out from nowhere and stole him as soo as he respawned. We then waited some more, killed him and got no loot at all, we were puzzled, so we waited some more, killed him, got a silver, we were getting pissed off at this point because we want his head, then we waited some more, and same thing, no head for the quest. Then I had to go to work, so I had to log, so I dont know if the group got the head or not. But has this happened to anyone before? no head?

There is a "back entrance" to where Nek'rosh is. If you pass the "normal entrance" goign down the road, you will come to a place where you can get to Nek'rosh much easier. I was able to solo him on my 33 priest. Take out the one guy that is closest to him. If you die, go back and you can then solo Nek'rosh man-to-man.

me lvl 29 mage did it together with a lvl 31 shaman and we kicked his ass.

I just solo'd as a level 29 Affliction Warlock.. extremely easy! VW tank, Corruption, Curse of Agony, and Shadowbolt is all I casted.

I just Soloed this as 29 hunter with lvl 28 boar pet. Died once trying to clear out the mobs around him. Came back pulled him with a Freezing trap set. Shot at him with out pet til he hit the trap, when trap wore let pet tank. Pet died at about 30% HP left on him, kited with frost trap and instant shots til he died. Took about 4 mins and had full HP but no MP at the end.

it's the easiest thing ever for anyone that's NOT a fire mage. tried him at 31, 32, 33, and 34. finally got a spare guildie to come slaughter him and at that point i was just glad to get that quest over and done with.

Soloed him at lvl 30. Fairly easy kill for a 32 elite. PUlled the centurion next to him first, then pulled the Chieftain straight back from his camp an killed him on the ridge. He runs of course, like all orcs.

I'm a 28 NE rogue and i wonder if i can solo him alone or if i need any help, and in that case, how much?

I would also like to get some info like how to get there, what enemies i have to beat on the way etc...

So I was able to get there and all by myself, but as a 33 mage, he was not even remotely close to being easy. Actually, still haven't killed him, so there you go. He hits for over 100dmg and I have just under 600hp, so I don't last too long. Was able to evade enough to get him down to half life.

PLEASE note that he IS immune to fire, and ALSO By that he immunes Fiery Weapon enchants etc.

Can anyone tell me his HP? and the orcs around him?

I'm a 34 fire mage, i can do nothing but nukes, but then he is immuned to fire... *sigh*
