Here is a very easy way to find out if he's inside the instance without having to examine every single room. Once you reach the point where you can turn left or right in the middle of the instance, type /target Bruegal

If he's in the instance, you will be able to target him at which point either you can ask your druid to track humanoids in cat form, ask your priest to mindvision him or send your rogue in stealth to find exactly which room he's in. If you get nothing, you can run out and reset the instance and try again (you can do that a total of 5 times).

Literally the only person in The Stockade who drops anything worth a damn. Unfortunately "Rare" isn't the half of it. Across all my alts and many many Stockade clears I have never seen him.

Confirmed, you can target this guy anywhere. This guy is extremelllllly rare though, took me a good 20 tries zoning in and out to try and get this on my hunter. finally got him to spawn and he dropped that gay fist weapon.

I saw him today for the first time, and when I came back alone he wasn't there. I found him in the first door on the left in the corridor that leads to Dextren Ward.

Like Stonespine in Stratholme, but much more rare. Given that almost no one does stockades over and over again, and you go on countless runs to Strath for set pieces. Not sure if the appearance rate is anything similar. Though I've been running through stockades to hook my alts up with gear. :) Only seen him once so far.

Ive seen him several times. One in the left corridor (first on the left side heading to Dextren Warden) and another in the left corridor to Bazil hope this helps u guys :)

there's a way to farm him
just have sombody help you reset the instance a couple of times until he spawns, i reset a couple once i spoted him switched to my warrior and killed him, while the other person holds the instance so it wont reset

Yeah, I seen him a couple of days ago, was just a regular run through, he was in the 1st room on the left down Bazil's Hallway, though I guess he can be down either hallway.

I and 2 friends are farming he's ass as we speak. We
use the "/target Bruegal" style. It work's well. In 40 min we have found him 5 times.. and I'm a rouge so I should be happy but he has only dropped the bloody handcuffs. Why god ?

I actually just wanted 2 of the fist weapons but I got (in 7 runs) 2 bracers, 2 daggers and 1 fist weapon.

The was in the instance 5 of the 7 runs ... he can be targeted from the front steps of the instance.

In Case anyone was wonder, as of 10/22/05, bruegal still spawns, i've killed him eight times now. only gotten fist x1 and bracers x7. and for those who don't know/having trouble of how to reset an instance, the way i do it is. stealth in, use the macro /target bruegal in the middle of the 2 wings, if nothing shows up i invite someone, doesn't matter who, then leave the party while in the instance. i wait for that "will be hearthed to ###..." and then step out of the instance. viola, you have a reset instance. and BTW u can only reset 6 times, then have to wait a half hour before entering any other instances. >< GL and HF.

Killed him twice now. Want the dagger, but before the "instance lock" i got 1xBracers and 1xFist weapon.

I did a /target Bruegal when i just entered the instance. Worked fine.

I tried the macro when I entered the instance...
and it said "Unknown Unit" when I tried to use it... Does that mean that he isnt in there, or that the macro just isnt working?

I used /target Bruegal Ironknuckle for the macro command... can anybody tell me if I did anything wrong?

Warrior lv24. Been trying for bruegal's mail wrist for the past week, on and off. The macro works, you just have to run in a ways... this usually ends in me dying, and would be easier if I was a rogue after the dagger. Of the two times I found him, he dropped the dagger both times. I vendored one and have the other in my main hand, with cruel barb in the off. I'm beginning to think that either bruegal is cursed or blizzard enjoys irony. Wow is cruel sometimes.

Ive only seen this guy once on my hunter, killed him with group, and, lucky me i got the fist wep, sold it at vendor for a pretty good sum at the time. (I only wish i could fing him on my rogue /sigh)

he still exists, I found him after about 15 tries going in and out and I kept gettin message "you have entered too many instances" so I tried again an hour later. I went to bottom of entrance stairs and did /target Bruegal it worked. He was in the first room on the left down the right corridor. He dropped the stupid bracers I cant use cuz Im druid so I am goin to keep looking till I get fist wep =]

Ok I was in stockades with a 60 moments ago, I saw him and killed him...HE WAS UNLOOTABLE! And his corpse disappeared in a matter of seconds.

just make a macro:
/target bruegal ironknucle
enter the stoickade & use it, if it display unknown unit or something else, that means he is NOT spawn there, just out & reset dungeon...
when he is there, U will see an exact named NPC frame, he spawns at 2 possible rooms:
1. down 2nd room after left turn at first T
2. down 1st room after right turn at first T
i got him 5 times dropped 2 bracers & 2 fist weapons for around 30 tries for my warrier twink dual wield & it looks GREAT, but never drop the dagger...

u reset it by the leader right-clicking on his face in top corner and selecting reset all instances......

You can /target him from even the top of the stairs, but he's that rare, you will only spot him about once in 20 tries. Before you can reset that many times, you will get the message : you have entered too many instances recently. So get all of your 5 group members to leave the group and target him, and reset up to 4 times each if needed. The one that sees him invites the rest of your party. If you reset more than 5 times blizzard will prevent you from entering any instance for at least 30 minutes.

You guys must be very unlucky, on every one of my chars who has done the stockades, each time ive gone down , multiple times, he has been there, Just clear out all the side rooms, he spawns nearly in every room down the stairs on both sides.

saw him 2day and he dropped wrist armor but no1 needed so we all greeded i need the fist wep or dagger for my hunter but oh well hes lv 28 and in one lv he has torturing poker and zealot blade with fierys so i dont care that much

i was soooooooooo lucky i went STC with my Guild M8 he is lvl 24 lock and he made a grp we were with 1 lvl 20 priest a lvl 21 rogue (me) a lvl 27 druid and a 27 shammy the first time i went the dagger dropped we all aggreed to go another time and geuss what?.... the dagger dropped again! i was soo lhappy woth it

all u do is make a macro saying /target Bruegal Ironknuckle. when u enter this instance, and press ur macro, if he's there, his picture will pop up. this saves u a lotta time if u just wanna farm for the daggers. i went in around 30 times, 12 times he was there, 10/12 he dropped the bracers, the other 2 times the fists.

I started farming this guy yesterday. He shows up every two or three instances. Just /target bruegal and make sure to do it from at least 2/3 down the first corridor. The people who posted that you can target him from the very entrance are wrong; if he spawns at the end of either wing you will not be able to target him without walking 2/3 down the first corridor.

Pretty easy as a horde rogue to farm this. Naked body run into stockades, then use vanish every time you leave the instance to reset it (else the stockade guards will murder you.)

Remember you can only be in 5 instances every hour, so log out and play tic tac throw or something.

I got an undead rogue alt, and I don't care about dieing 50 times over to get into stockades for this dagger.

But what's the situation like? At what lvl is he soloable? Does he have adds? Can he be fought where he can't call for adds?
How hard is it to get to him? Can I stealth all the way?

Or, in short: How to do this?

I've been looking for his fists/daggers for a while on my rogue, been ran through like 5 times, gone through like 5 times, scouted through like 20 times, and I have yet to even see the guy. If he's even a 1/50 spawn, it'll take me like 1000 times just to get a pair of each.

I was wondering if he's still in the game, seeing as how I haven't seen him and neither has a rogue friend of mine.

I do tons of runs helping guildmates, hoping for some useful greens for alts/guild or just for fun. First time in a whole lot of runs I've ever seen this guy. He was in the left room right before the large room near Dextran Ward, left wing of stockades. I might have to keep an eye out next time and invite a guildie to hopefully get a nice blue.

Stealthed through Stocks on a pickpocket run (looking for ) and saw this guy.

Sapped the dude next to him and burned him down (with evasion), quick loot, then vanish.

He dropped the dagger =D

better chance of getting the lvl 24 meteor shard from Arugal than farming for this guy, he's very rare and will most likely drop the bracers. But I found that he can spawn on either side fyi.

well, i was in stocks farmin with my 60 (greens, linen, silk, wool, etc.) and came across him? i got the mail piece off him..worthless to me (BoP---bah)...anyways, does anyone know how "rare" of a spawn he is? i have done stocks over 50 times between guildys, alts etc and have never seen him before. is he new? if he is new, i may farm him for my alt rogue, warrior, and pally...thanks for the help. happy hunting

Solo'd him at lvl27 :D. Just make sure to start when his buddy is looking the other way, and then fight in the corner close to the door.

I farmed Stockades for like 3 hours and when i find this guy he drops the bracers....the only thing i didnt want! Gna keep trying for those other 2 blues!

This is a rare boss spawn, meaning he will not appear there every time (like Dark Iron Ambassador at Gnomeregan). He's in one of the rooms down Bazil's side, or at least that's where I fought him, probably multiple spawn points.

Got the Knuckles.. Made an excellent offhand weapon for my Rogue for a while. Also gave me an excuse to train in hand to hand weapons.
