XD gonna tame it to learn the skill, then spend about the next month or so getting the lvl 29 Rotting Aggamar out of RFK up to 70 XO

These neutral, level 60 piggies are found near Terrordale in EPL. Their skin looks like the undead boars from RFD (skull face, grey color, ribs showing). Their primary purpose to to give players a good, high level pet, and to add the Charge 6 skill to the game. (Just be aware that getting one friendly will take forever since they start at such a high level)

Currently they are bugged. You can't learn Charge 6 from them as for now to teach to your other boars.

I didnt know the exact location for this piggy so I went just about to everyplace in EPL. I found him eastern most side of EPL.

They are yellow so they wont attack you on sight. I put the freezing trap down and boom! he was mine. I got the Gore 8 right away, but had to wait a little bit for the Charge 6 - and it is great!

He's worth the travel and I can already tell he's an awesome pet (took him right away to Hellfire Peninsula for a test run)

Is it worth to lvl this pet to lvl 70? and how long time will it take?

I got one to 65 and when I dinged 66 I tamed Rema<The Den mother> and have stuck with her, but the plague swine is a fairly decent tanking pet.. I plan to get back to mine and level it on up but I just haven't but it was awesome all through Hellfire, Zangermarsh and Terrokar.

The boars yuo see in Outland are all Demons :(

They are all level 60's. I'm 7.5 bars away...I killed them all hoping they will respawn at lower level but they didn't... it says "58-60" but they are all 60's! :(

I just tamed a Plagued Swine last week, it's now at loyalty 5, trained with growl/armor top level. Got charge 6 within an hour.

I was farming most of the time, so was tackling one pull at a time with no adds to start, and only noticed a very odd thing last night whilst clearing SM single-handed for a guildy. If Beefer (boar) has, say, a 3 man pull on him, he'll switch his aggro amongst them rather than stay with the one I order him to attack. He'll also briefly break his attacks to charge and aggro mobs that are attacking me or other group members without being told, and usually manages to keep the aggro!

Am I just lucky to have got a clever piggy, or is this a bug/known boar bonus? I've had multiple pets, but none have shown the least inclination to switch attacks without orders.

They are still bugged people, there was no fix announced, nothing has been done.

The tamed boar can be trained with Charge 1, 2, 3 & 5 which aren't greyed out even if it has Charge 6. That's why they are bugged. Don't waste your time with those unless you plan on using one.

i have had this pet for sumtime and it Loyalty not gone up>< i c u people alrdy got lvl 6 so does it take long time for this pet to get loyalty or what

Just tamed one yesterday. Named him Boarrito. Great tanking pet for high DPS MM spec hunter.

i tamed one of these, pretty cool pet; hes already loyalty level 6.

Charge is the Boar Ability like stealth for cat so only boars can charge.

Anyone have a problem learning charge 6, hes up to loyalty level 6 and he still hasnt taught me charge 6.

use your beastlore on them and see who got it, and then tame the one who has it, l2p

Just Tamed him charge 6 was learnt in about the 10th use of it all working fine now , well on shadowsong server anyway :)

Is there a loyalty bug on these? I've had one for ages however his loyalty has not moved, its still 1 :(. Anyone else had this problem?

Yep, I cant seem to learn the charge rank 6 too... I dunno whats the problem.

I was unable to get a message saying I learned it. However, once the boar hit loyalty level 2, there it was sitting in my training book. I taught it to my other boar and he learned it fine.

The Charge 6 bug has been fixed at least on the EU servers. I learned it the normal way, but some Hunters reported that they were unable to learn it until they used it manually; if it is still bugging, that might be worth a try.

I have the same loyalty problem with a Zul'Gurub Tiger at the moment.

I just tamed the lvl 60 swine, and after charging 5 times, I learnt the lvl 6 skill. Not bugged anymore. His happiness hasn't increased yet tho.

I have done my best to provide Map Mouseovers for each and every beast, wherever possible!
Unfortunately some do not yet have maps, but these will automatically be added to this post when they're added to the NPC's page.

For those trying to raise loyality of fresh tamed 60 lvl pet.
Just fight with 50+ lvl mobs when your pet is happy (green indicator) => loyality will raise to cap (Best Friend) eventually.

Learn Dash 3 from the Frostsaber tigers in Winterspring and then go pick up one of these badboys for a great (maybe even the best) DMT run pet.
