This is a great ring to have early on. If you have a friend able to help you complete the quest a little earlier on, this can provide a huge boost to an otherwise empty ringslot and save you the gold from buying an auctioned item.

Getting a group for this might prove to be more difficult at lower levels, when you get gain the quest (still red), but casters looking for a nice gear boost can pick this up in the small undead outpost just west of the main road past the bridge.

Be sure to also check out the Robes of Argul and the Shoulders that drop from the last few bosses in SFK, which drop regularly.

this has to be this best twink ring ever.
the +8 stam gives 80 health right off the bat
and the +3 str gives and xtra 1 dps, which is massive at lvl 19 BG

Actually, Sylvanas is the leader of the Forsaken. She used to be a High Elf, but was killed and turned into a banshee. Now she leads the Forsaken from the Undercity. Blizzard screwed nothing up.

First off, if you're worried about not getting this switch sides. You could play Horde; if you're not on a pvp server, you could even play both. Imagine that, you can get this. You'd just rather complain then actually do it... So nut up or shut up.

I think this is a great ring for my rogue. It's the only good ring that is accessible from a quest, and doing SFK I would also hope for the silverlaine's family seal to drop. Those two rings are the easiest to get, and the best asside from the WSG reward at our level, imho. This is worth 7 ap for us, which is .5 dps, a lot from one item. And stam is always nice. It would be better for a warrior, but as a quest reward I don't have to worry about being nice =P.

For those trying to get this, the quest starts at the sepulcher in silverpine forest, and is available at level 20.

Sorry about the previous post, got my rings mixed up. This one is only 3 ap, which is .214 dps. The 8 stam is 80 health. Silverlaine's family seal is the 7 ap ring, with 3 stam, which is another 30 health. Combined would net a .71 dps boost and 110 health.
rogue ap = str + agi
Warrior ap = str*2

My Warrior has used the Seal of Sylvanas until it was replaced by an epic of greater quality. The SoS is difficult to replace for a few reasons:

1) The stats are beyond awesome, especially at the level it's obtained.
2) Rings with better stats are often in the neighborhood of 5g+ (on my server, anyway). Seal of Sylvanas is free.
3. The money you spend on a ring with a few extra points of Strength (or whatever your stat of choice may be) is better put toward an armor/weapon upgrade or any other number of expensive purchases (mount, elite mount, class-specific epic weapon/trinket book...).

Every Horde character regardless of race can benefit from this ring, that goes without saying. Whether you hold it to 60 or not really depends on how you feel about the points outlined above.

Look for an Undead dude with a pink hat to the left of the graveyard in the Sepulcher, you cant miss him!

the quest wont become available for a while from dawnweaver unless youve done the chain augral's folly.... you CAN get the quest without doing the chain, but i dont know what lvl that would require... if you do the chain however i do believe you can get this quest as early as 16.

This ring is completly worth the little trubble getting it for your twink, it might also drop a nice dagger inn there, after what i know "assasins blade" and "shadowfang" can drop in there so GL. Only horde btw. And you get the quest at the little graveyard at "the specubler" this rig is something you can have untill 50+ when you are starting to get the good gear.

Yea I got a level 14 who did the whole chain but I can't get the quest. You can get it as early as level 16.

Is this a chain quest , if so what quest does it start with , where can i get the begining of the chain , and what is the lowest level i can get it?

Yes its a 4 part quest to do before you can get the ring. Now you must be level 18 to get it. Starts with shackles quest from moonrage gluttons and darksouls. Quest is given by Dalar Dawnweaver at the Sepulcher.

Pretty good for a blue item like this to be a reward a such a low level. But don't forget about the rewards you can get from the leaders of the fang quest, and that's an even lower level!

alliance gets something better although u need to be higher level though..at the end of the defias quests. its called the Seal of Wrynn and it has more buffs on it that this one doesnt. i still have it on my 59 pally

Horde side only.

You get this ring after defeating Arugal must die, and the ring will easily be on you at lvl 45.

Very good ring, also when you consider how early you can get it :)
