Also worth mentioning, it is an exelent lowbie Shaman Weapon. In fact I would say it is much more useful to shammies due to the spirit buff.

Any class loves Stamina, and the Spirit is good for Mana regin for MeleeCaster Hybreds (Aka Shammy.) Palidans can benefit from this weapon, but would be better off with a strength bonus over spirit at that level.

Yes ive this axe for my hunter since he was lvl 18 and now im lvl 28! its a great axe, i havent found a TH weapon with better speed!

If this TH axe does 19 DPS, is duel wield axes with 13 DPS better?

I picked this axe up my first run through deadmines : / Never realised it was this, and I love it, aside from the fact that the axe I had before had +5 agi. I like the 19.5 dps, though is this axe more powerful than smites hammer? I see they do almost the same damage, but I cant be quite sure. Id rather just keep this than go searching for smite only to have to train up my 2h mace skill. Any advice?

Well i think the mace is better becuase the damage it does is not that much less and the agi/str bonus are fare better then the stam/spirit bonus on this weapon(atleast for warrior and paladin) and well paladins just need to get verigans fist on lvl 20(got that to really owns in combination with seal of command)

I won this ax my first time through the deadmines (a failed run cause the group leader wanted all the good item). I used this ax (I ashamedly admit) until I got the whirlwind ax at lvl 33, yeah I really don't play enough to hunt down good items so its nice that this weopon dropped for me (Mr Smites hammer dropped for my sister who plays a druid) all we did was beat smite and break up as a group.

there is no way this is a 2% drop iv been through 5 times and got 4 axes someone else got it on the 5th time iv checked and its an 84.5% chance of gettinf it

Anyone who has a lv19 twink (warrior) or thinking of making one might want to read this. So yeah, like the title says, i wanted to find out which weapon would be good to use when in lv19 BG. I wanted to find a weapon that had good damage while having some good stats, too. So, i narrowed it down to 4 weapons:

Smite's Mighty Hammer
Binds when picked up
Two-Hand Mace
55 - 83 Damage Speed 3.50
(19.7 damage per second)
+11 Strength
+4 Agility
Durability 80 / 80
Requires Level 18

Taskmaster Axe
Binds when picked up
Two-Hand Axe

(19.6 damage per second)

So yeah, I was thinking of using since it has an okay speed and some nice stats and since I already have one... =P but if anyone thinks theres better, comment please.

got this on my 19 paly tonight. so happy but also so sad because in a few levels i'll just get Vegian's Fist. The hunter in my raid was so pissed off cause he needed it more than me but then i never won anything from there on out. =(

Ran VC for my first time solo, lvl 31 paladin, and he dropped it i wanna get more rare drops for my twink warrior. PST to Holyblaze on Executus I wanna run this till my warrior is fully twinked out.

I was running Deadmines and this dropped. I was careless and put a need on it, and I actually won it. Everyone in my group started yelling at me, because it was the second time I had needed a blue item; the first time it was . I won that too. Then, when we got to the smelting room, I had to leave early for dinner, and then the hunter blew up. He was like, "First you take a blue that you don't need, and then you leave early!" I responded, "Oh be quiet!" As a matter of fact, I sort of did need it. I was a 17 Gnome Warrior, and I was so close to 18. I ran off with the axe. But it's totally sweet! I killed Black Dragon Whelps in about 3 hits. I can't wait till I get a sweet enchant on it from my friend, Ninjamage, whose a 60 Gnome Mage on my server, Firetree. It sucks, though, cause I really wanted , because I haven't had a decent 1-handed weapon since 13. By the way, what's a good shield for me?

i got this axe with +5dmg chant on, not bad for a 19 warrior (my alt) . plus +3 sharpening stone and battle shout :) critting for 215+

I got it at Lvl.19 and love this thing. I was the only warrior in the instance with no paladins and it was a sure win. Two others rolled greed, but I won anyway. I pulled a 178 crit with it soon after equiping it

im getting this imba axe soon and i know i will easlily crit over 200 because i have so much strength and agility. ill be killing things in like 2hits, espeically when i got a +7 dmg chant on it. Dwarf warrior 21, server Balnazzar. if u need any help give us a /w.bye.

In my first run to deadmines i got this axe.Now i am lv 21 paladin and it's perfect.To me it's much better than Exicutioner's Sword.

yea this axe is cool, i had it on my pally, but he's lvl 60 now :D but i got a warrior twink alt and with it (no enchant) i pulled a 215 crit, quite high for low Arms spec, this is a really mint axe for lowbies
